Warung Babi Tong — Restaurant in Jakarta

It was a random time where we decided to go a bit south from west. Heard this place from TikTok and happened that it was one of a great spot place to eat pork.

The place quite hidden - no where - in the middle of houses near Sta. Haji Nawi est 600-700m from ITC Fatmawati. Just follow the point at Google Maps and you will find abig building which the restaurant located at 3rd floor.

You can find 1 unique and authentic cafe at the ground, however we didn't have a chance to try it. Probably some other time.

Back to the place, it was nice and ethnic. The food was great as well. We love to eat there and for sure become one of our preference next time.

This place lives up to be called a hidden gem. There were no signs or billboards on the main street whatsoever. You have to take 4? or 5 flights of stairs that were relatively narrow to get to the main counter. The building design was unique. Didn't feel like I was in Jakarta for a moment.

I tried the noodle and it wasn't what I prefer as they were too thick to my liking. It was a bit too salty as well. But the meat was delicious. They also offer the a la carte meat with the perfect tangy sour zest and a bit of spiciness.

Vibe was good, flavors were also gewd. Located on a rooftop of a small building near haji nawi this place offers various kind of pork dishes from roasted, pork bone soup to balinese pork. I ordered their OG pork rice, it is a roasted pork (similar with se’i from kupang NTT). The flavors were well balanced, the place comes with black dipping sambal, red oily sambal, cassava leaves & the pork itself. The pork was tender & flavorful, while the companion (sambal & veggie) works really well together. Price is kinda steep (80k) for a portion.
