the authentic betawinese cusine. the place is moderately spacious as it divided into two parts separated with a wall. they had no parking lot so you will have to parked your vehicles at the road side. the pecak gurame is their main attraction, the taste is very authentic, the pecak ayam and pecak lele is famously ordered big times. they sayur asem is very nice flavoured, the sambal terasi is good, they baked stinky beans (pete bakar) is well seasoned and very good. the taste is still the same as many years ago so nothing is changed in terms of flavour. well consistent. open from 09.00 a.m to 17.00 p.m but usually some of the menus had been run out around 2 a.m. packed with customers around lunch time. overall this pecak gurame h. muhayar is worth every penny of money you have...

This small Food stall is very well known for the local food Betawi located in South Jakarta, Jl. Tmn Margasatwa where the food stall located always be full visited by the people who dine in, during it's open hours. What make here so special is Ayam Kampung goreng ( special ras of chicken that free living out of the cage, fried with turmeric,coriander,salt onion spiced ) Sayur Asem ( vegetables sour soup) and Sambal terasi, with some raw vegetables. I did try several authentic Betawi's restaurant and by far this place has the best pecak fish (Pecak Gurameh be number one!) I have ever taste. I like their Pecak Ayam Goreng Kampung too, surprisingly the size is quite big and tender. Fried Tofu and Tempeh also taste good with their signature red chunck sambal (available on every table).

Every meal already include with fresh Lalapan for free.
