Restaurant Cahaya Baru — Restaurant in Karawang

went here because ko asin was closed. ordered these items:

mie goreng tasted good (somehow similar to ko asin's but with more topping variations).

sapo was ok but i believe they didn't handle the mushrooms properly so they gave off an unpleasant smell, hopefully it's just me being unlucky.

bistik babi tasted like... well, bistik babi. it's meant to be good 😂

overall, food is ok but kinda overpriced, maybe nostalgia tax? idk maybe locals know more.

P.S: their rice...

This restaurant is located in Karawang, not easily spotted from the street. The food is excellent, old-school Chinese food, and the portion is big, but a bit expensive. We didn't have to wait for a long time for the food to be served. My recommended menu : fried noodle, egg foo yong, fried...

This is the best Chinese food ever in Karawang. It provides kinds of foods with pork meat inside. Price is quite good with its taste. You can do pre order here then take the food. This restaurant is historic and still exist until now. You got to try this before...
