This little restaurant sits right by a quiet ceremonial beach that feels more like a gathering place than a tourist spot. During the day, it’s calm and spiritual, you’ll see offerings tucked between the rocks, which might look like litter if you’re not familiar with local customs, but they’re actually part of the daily rhythm of Balinese Hindu life. By evening, families start to appear, flying kites, chatting, kids running around. It’s a lovely slice of local life. The warung itself is simple and unassuming, exactly what you’d expect from a small, beachside place, but don’t let that fool you. The food is genuinely good. The chef is friendly and proud of what he serves, but in a laid-back, easygoing way. He checks in just enough to make you feel welcome, and if you'd like to chat further, he is game! Read moreAugust 2022, we, Raelene and I had the pleasure of going to Jasri to check out this new cafe at Jasri. We were staying just down the beach from this establishment. We arrived in the afternoon, to a lovely welcome from Made and Nyoman with some bloody cold Bintangs. We had Nasi Campur and a Nasi Goreng and these dishes were probably the best we have ever had in all our trips to Bali. The service was warm and very friendly, so we stayed and sang songs and consumed more food and drank till after midnight. We loved the food and the local vibe so much we asked the chef to teach us how to cook the Nasi Goreng. He said that they have cooking lessons for tourists so we were back there at 10am. One of the best experiences we have ever had in Bali. Do yourself a favor and get out of the main tourist areas and travel up to Jasri beach to find this little gem right on the beach. 5 star all the way with food, drinks, hospitality, price and most of all, the location. Can't wait to get...

Sitting on the water, watching locals relax and enjoying a beautiful meal with amazing company certainly got us caught! Place to stop and try. By the way Jasri is really beautiful and local too. On top of that...
