Genki Sushi - Supermall Karawaci (UG) — Restaurant in Kelapa Dua

Shortly: Good Nanban Chicken. Mediocre dining experience.

AC is not activated, probably maximizing profit for their AYCE? I came for normal dining basis btw.

The tables were awfully stinky. Somehow reeks of baby puke? The smell amplified greatly due to high temperature. I even had to waste 1/2 bottle of my own sanitizer to TRY get rid of the smell.

Employees are not responsive through the QR system although it wasn't a hectic hour. It already rang, but the employees were so busy having fun chit chat mid working hours (this persists even when i want to pay at cashier). Lowkey gotta wait for the waiter for several minutes just because they forgot to provide spoon for the ricebowl.

Considering the price for the food is quite on pricey side, the environment and service is totally not worth it. Honestly i highly doubt coming back.

We went on a Wednesday a bit after lunch time. They had their AYCE deal so of course we had to take advantage.

However, we were a bit put off by the servers. They were DEFINITELY under staffed. Only 3 working waiters on standby. During an AYCE promo? I think that’s a bit irresponsible. Especially when AYCE menu needs to be manually ordered (through a piece of paper that we had to give to the waiters, not through the ipad.) Since there were only 3 workers, calling them over took a while. I had to stand up several time to get their attention.

Nothing on the workers at all. They really tried their best accommodating all of the customers who want to be seated, to order, to pay, etc. The management needs to consider putting more on-call during promo days like these, even if it’s on a weekday. I feel incredible bad for the 3 waiters.

Having lunch on 30th October 2022 around 11:30 AM-1:00 PM, there are quite a number of diners becuase it is Sunday.

For the food I ordered salmon sashimi, scallop sashimi, tuna sashimi, tuna tataki, salmon belly, deep fried shisamo, wakame miso soup, chuka wakame, chuka idako, river eel gunkan, & poke gunkan. I am satisfied with the food taste & the speed of the food served.

There was minimum contact with waiters & staffs due to the ordering methods done by inputing through a tablet & the order directly delivered by a train to the customer table.

Price-wise, it is more or less quite similar with the other sushi establishments in the mall.

The waiters an staffs were very friendly & helpful. During leaving the premise, I forgot my watch and one of the waitress (the one wear glasses) brought my watch to me. Her honesty should be complimented...
