We're a Party of 2 coming in at what supposed to be the end of lunch rush hour on the weekend, but we stand corrected.
Arrival at the restaurant 13.23 Seated at 15.03 Menu given: 15.08 Order given to restaurant: 15.18 Food arrived at table: drinks at 15.27 cheese stick at 15.37 hambagu set and katsu curry at 15.40ish yakitori at 16.10 (server say "because it takes a lot of time")
Menu ordered and ratings: Iced Ocha 3/5 (it's just ocha from a jug, not sure why it took 9 minutes to come) Hambagu cheese set ayashi sauce 4/5 Millefeuille katsu curry original set 3.5/5 Cheese sticks 4/5 Yakitori tare 2/5 because they still have uncooked chicken!!! This is not japan, uncooked chicken is not edible in here!
Other notes: they gave us seat but asked us to move to accommodate a party of 3, because they don't plan their seating properly. Only TWO servers present at the ground floor. Ordering is a chore because they don't get your orders together despite lack of server speed, they chose to input the table one by one (which is understandable, if there are more servers or if they have higher speed). Gosh even cutlery were not given until I notified the servers.
Someone was allowed to come in even when their name have been skipped (despite the signed saying otherwise). People are allowed to write their own name in the waiting list without supervision which impose risks of people scribbling their name in others' place to get ahead.
No food is worth more than 3 hour wait; no matter how good it is. Not recommended coming here at a weekend even not at lunch or dinner rush until they a) teach their team better order management and hire more people b) make their waiting list system better. The employees are swamped, the management needs to give a...
Read moreArguably the best Japanese restaurant for value of money! It's no longer a hidden gem in Gading Serpong area as the place was full during lunch time on the weekend and people got to wait for table. The place was relatively small but it's worth the wait!
We ordered Oden package for appetizer. Then for the main dishes we ordered Chicken Katsu Curry, Ebi Katsudon, Miso Ramen, Omurice and Millefeuille Katsu Rice Set. We didn't expect that the portions were so generous as at the end of our dining we got to take home plenty of remaining food.
The Curry sauce was deliciously light and flavorful of Japanese taste. The Ebi Katsudon was savory and satisfying. The Miso Ramen was rich and fulfilling. All in all we got ourselves a really good Japanese food!
The best part was when we gotta pay the bill. The prices were very reasonable, quite lower across the board compared to what one has to pay in other Japanese restaurants in Jakarta. For the tasty Japanese food prepared and cooked by Japanese chef they were all good values. Highly...
Read moreI went to this restaurant quite a long time ago, I think it was February. I was excited to eat there because all of those promotional videos on Instagram. First of all, the food was good! Well-presented and flavorful ... too salty for my taste though; not horribly salty, but just enough to make me want to chug a whole glass of water after every bite.
Taste-wise, honestly it was not anything super unique or special. Like, yeah it was good, it was decent, but also very typical? It's the kind of food I feel like I've had before at other Japanese places (even the non-authentic ones). So, while I enjoyed the food, I wouldn't say that it stood out. Like, you're not missing out on some hidden gem if you skip this place.
Now the atmosphere. When we arrived, it was packed, and so they sat us upstairs on the second floor. It was not great. The lighting was super dim, like almost too dark to see my food properly (even with the huge window!) ... quite awkward and uncomfortable.
Service was okay, nothing to...
