I visit this restaurant after weekend Sunnah lecture, and it was amazing experience. If you're into Japanese BBQ, Gyu-Kaku is a must-visit.
Food: The food here is fantastic, especially the King Karubi. The King Karubi is melt-in-your-mouth delicious with a low fat percentage that suits my palate perfectly. In contrast, I didn't enjoy the Dragon Karubi as much; it was too thick and chewy for my taste, likely due to its connective tissue and fat content, and perhaps I didn't cook it properly.
Their gyoza is just right—not too filling, unlike the chicken karaage, which is a good point. For dessert, their gluten-free milk pudding is a delightful choice. I loved that they have gluten-free dessert options, which is great for those with dietary restrictions.
Service: The service here is top-notch. The staff is quick, friendly, and always ready to help, even when the restaurant is busy. Despite sometimes having to wait a bit for a table, the overall experience with the staff makes up for it.
Ambiance: The restaurant isn't very spacious but it’s clean, calm, and bright, providing a welcoming environment. It's cozy enough to comfortably cater to a good number of people without feeling crowded. For my meal, I chose the assorted mushrooms foil as an appetizer, veggies wrap to balance the flavors, and ended with the Gyu-Kaku milk pudding.
My first all-you-can-eat experience here was fantastic and surpassed my expectations. I'll definitely be back to...
Read moreCame here on Saturday around 4pm and it was half empty. The staff quickly take my order and serve all the items. I have some problems in another outlet when I re-order, it doesn't came as I order and was very slow. But not in here. Mas Jamal, one of the staff came to me several times and asked if I want to re-order the beef or dessert. The other staff also very quick to refill my drink, I don't have to ask. Fyi, I came alone and very impressed with the service. Menu tips: Order more for Garlic Suki Shabu and Karubi, the best. Try Gyu-Kaku rice and wakame salad, both were delicious. For better taste, marinate the beef with the sauce on your table before grilling it. Enjoy while hot. Don't forget to control the griller to avoid overcooked even burnt beef. I never order the chicken, it took forever to cook it.
For dessert, try to mix the ice cream and pudding. You can re-order the dessert more than 3x tho so don't get your stomach too full, save some room for the delicious dessert.
Price: 227k for standard buffet (includes tax). Fyi, you can also order ala carte if you think buffet is too much.
One thing to improve: The air con. I wish it can be a little cooler, especially when the sun is still...
