Ordered several non-satay food : nasi liwet, nasi bebek, nasi ayam betutu, nasi ayam taliwang.. all taste good with filling portion. Special notes for their es cendol, it's amazing.. the taste of coconut milk is very rich and fresh, perfectly combined with sweetness from the sugar. Service is average, was waiting for a while for 1 menu to be served. And have to ask for utensils, despite the fact that they don't have hand washing sink inside the restaurant. Dining area is also not too spacious, a bit cramped in the area that side by side with the kitchen.

Hanya karena nama besar dan nilai2 history saja resto ini tetap bertahan meski begitu resto ini tetap merupakan resto favorit bagi generasi Baby Boomers & Gen X (era 60-70 an), resto ini sebenarnya memiliki nilai History berbarengan dengan Bakmie GM, Bakmie GK, Bakmie Naga, Nasi Ayam Haynam Apollo, Nasi Tim Pasar Pagi, Soto Betawi Roxy, Rumah Makan Fajar, Paregu, Es Ragusa, dsb dengan kata lain yang membuat restoran ini memiliki value yang signifikan adalah nilai-nilai sejarah history yang trlah membuatnya menjadi semacam Gestald & mendarah-daging bagi generasi-generasi Baby Boomers dan Gen X, oleh karenanya resto Sate Khas Senayan ini tetap berada di hati Kami-Kami ini dari generasi Baby Boomers dan Gen X.

It was a very nice restaurant. The food was really good, the service was impeccable. It was lacking sink, but they gave us wet tissues when we asked. We chose this place for a family gathering and it was really nice place. Will come back.
