Steak21 — Restaurant in Kota Bekasi

Verdict : I've been to 4 different Steak 21, this is my fifth and my WORST Steak 21 experience.

I came at lunch time (11pm), waited for 20mins while also placing my order downstairs before i went up to the Boeing. They served free mineral water here while we wait.

When it's finally my turn (there are 3 of us), they ask us if we wanna be seated to a table with 1 additional chair because if we wanna be seated to a 4 seat table, we had to wait longer. You can see "The Additional Chair" they gave me. I almost need to pick it up myself because when i got into the Boeing the waiter hasn't prepared my seat (thanks so much for this).

They don't provide background music, but they have a speaker inside. But they use the speaker for birthday celebration, in high volume. VERY LOUD, as in they BLAST the music to our ears. You can imagine a cheap speaker with cracked sound blasting very loud birthday song? Yeah. That's what you wanna hear while you're eating an overcooked steak and pasta.

There's one waitress speaks too loud, and running jokingly with the other waiter. Kids, you're working????

Food was meh. 85k undercooked pasta, poor quality rib eye, but great...

The airplane-themed atmosphere here is unique and visually impressive, but unfortunately, our first overall experience fell far short. Two of our orders were missed entirely, and the service throughout was slow and poorly coordinated. My sister’s steak came out tough and noticeably undercooked — more like medium rare than the medium-well she requested. While they eventually replaced it after she couldn’t take it anymore and complained, that level of quality control should’ve been there from the start. Compared to other Steak 21 branches we’ve visited, the food here felt significantly lower in quality. Dined inside the airplane-themed section of Steak 21 and the whole experience felt super cozy. The seating area is spacious, comfy, and honestly gives off a mini business class vibe—perfect for a more chill and intimate dining moment.

I ordered the tenderloin steak, cooked medium well, and it came out just the way I like it—slightly pink in the middle, juicy, and tender. The brown sauce complemented it well, and the sides were generous too: sautéed veggies, pasta, and sauces with different flavor profiles. Bener-bener bikin puas dan kenyang!
