Jika anda sedang berpergian ke daerah Kudus Jawa Tengah dan ingin mencari makanan dengan bahan dasar daging sapi dapat dipastikan akan agak sulit untuk menemukannya, kenapa, apakah daging sapi haram untuk disembelih dan dimakan di sana?
Bukan, namun berdasarkan sejarah pada saat Kudus masih banyak yang beragama Hindu Sunan Kudus mengunjungi salah satu masjid dengan membawa sapi dari India lalu masyarakat banyak yang berbondong-bondong ke masjid karena ingin menyaksikan apa yang dilakukan beliau nama aslinya Jafar Shodiq terhadap sapi tersebut
Ternyata Sunan Kudus menyampaikan himbauan larangan untuk menyembelih sapi hal tersebut membuat masyarakat Hindu merasa dihormati dan semakin tertarik dengan ajaran Islam melihat bahwa Islam juga menghormati agama orang lain. Lokasi dan Kudus menyampaikan di Alquran juga ada surat yang membahas tentang sapi yaitu al-baqarah sapi betina.
Peranan masyarakat Hindu semakin tertarik dan akhirnya banyak yang masuk Islam sehingga hingga saat ini kudis bermayoritas muslim pada saat Jafar Shodiq datang di Kudus salah satu pusat penyebaran agama Hindu di pulau Jawa.
Riwayat lain menyatakan pada saat di masjid tersebut Sunan Kudus mengatakan bahwa wa iya pernah kehausan lalu diberikan pertolongan dengan air susu sapi, sebagai penghormatan beliau untuk tidak menyembelih sapi.
Bahkan masjid yang dibangun oleh Sunan Kudus juga berarsitektur Hindu tampak dengan ornamen seperti candi-candi yang akan perlihatkan pada postingan selanjutnya.
Sebenarnya teman saya mengajak untuk mengkonsumsi sate kerbau namun karena sedang sulit dicari akhirnya mengkonsumsi soto kerbau yang yang rasa dagingnya memang lebih empuk dan lembut dibanding daging sapi. Patokan taman Bojana
