Boatrocks Bar — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Honestly I’m not going to write a scathing review. This place just kind of sucks. If you are at risk of situational depression, I would seriously avoid.

It shows Australian sport so if you’re desperate you can watch it here. But I would take the risk of watching it somewhere else or streaming it from your phone.

The vibe is weird with 4-6 older men sitting around smoking cigarettes. All the windows are closed, so you’re going to smell like an ashtray walking out of there. A bartender that which responds with the word ‘yep’ when you say ‘Thankyou’. Which did make us laugh, as it truly added to the abnormal experience of the bar.

Although this review has been mainly negative. I did really enjoy the Aussie meat pie and the sausage roll off their menu (mind you, these were 2 of their 3 total menu options. The only other option being packaged beef jerky).

The moment I walked in I was brought a drink by Bill one of many of the local legends, there are ex pro surfing champs, a martial arts champion. Indonesian cricket coach and other sport stars, a International winners of wine growing and making. a deep diving skipper and the list goes on. To enjoy having a good drink, laughs. watching the game, to listen to some incredible stories and of course the beautiful girls was a highlight for my first time visiting Bali, I say never judge a book by its cover, here is where you can get great advice about the area, Bali and others.
