One-Eighty Pool Club So with an entire day free, I wanted to treat myself. And what better way whilst on holiday than a ‘beach club’ - where you pay for an allocated seat/seats/location - with an allocation of monies to be used against Food & Beverage purchases whilst you’re there. Given that I was to dine at The Cave in the late evening, I opted for One-Eighty, part of The Edge resort complex. Several options were available, but i opted for the royal treatment - a pool-side cabana. At IDR4.5m for the day (literally the entire open - 10am, to close - 9pm) it is certainly not cheap. (2million is redeemable against F&B purchase) On arrival, reception did feel very quite confused. And a little disorganised. But after a while of paperwork, I was in a golf cart being whisked to the cabana. Well… Royal treatment indeed. The steps descending to pool deck just enhanced the view, excitement and anticipation of a great day ahead. And I was right to feel this way. The cabana is literally one step from the pool edge, and is in a restricted area just for the ‘cabana-dwellers’ - very exclusive!! Welcome drinks, canapés and towels arrived promptly. All additional F&B ordered throughout the day arrived in super fast time. Delivered by the lifeguard (forgot his name - awesome guy!) with a smile, a brief chat and a slinky retreat to a safe distance, but always looking out for anything that was needed…excellent service indeed. Even with an early evening rain storm, the staff sprung into action, collecting all belongings. Rushing them undercover in the resort guest & VIP dining room - a perk of the VIP cabana purchase that i was very grateful for. In summary, the food was of the highest quality. The drinks were cold when needed and hot when necessary. And the service was attentive without being ‘hawkish’. A luxury at that price yes. But I think it just made for such a memorable day, in a memorable location. Bravo One-Eighty. Your sister venue ‘The Cave’ could learn a lot from y’all.

This place is amazing. There's a few minor inconveniences, but if you're wanting a chill LUXURY VIP experience for a good price, this is it! 1. You NEED a reservation and you NEED to note the difference between THE EDGE and THE CAVE. Our visit to THE EDGE was great and we had a VIP reservation that made the experiment more of an appeal, but coming from a low income place in the US, it definitely has a bougie vibe that seems a little TOO exclusive at times. We wanted to invite more friends, but because you NEED a reservation a day in advance and can't add anyone to your party after it's been locked in it was a minor inconvenience. 2. The LOVE POTION #180 was our group's ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE drink. Presentation is beautiful and it's probably THE BEST COCKTAIL I've had in my week here in Bali. 3. The views of the ocean and cliff are MAJESTIC, but the "glass bottom infinity pool" is underwhelming at best. People crowd around it for photos and it sounds way cooler than a 6x6 square you can barely see through especially at sunset. 4. You WILL NOT GET A GOOD SUNSET VIEW here. It's just not positioned on the cliffs to view a proper sunset, but that said, it's beautiful and was well worth the full VIP experience. 5. Know that transportation to and from there is kinda weird because of how exclusive the resort is, BUT the staff is absolutely amazing at guiding and assisting you to and from where you need to get on the property. 6. Last weird thing is the bill. There's an admission fee to the property, but if you pay for VIP admission they apply 500k to your bill. So it's a REALLY good deal if it's a small dinner with a few people, but be sure to ask about the calculations because it gets weird when you start to add everything up after a few drinks, especially if you had a larger group 😅🍻🥂 Overall 5 star experience! Just don't have the expectations that you'll get a good sunset view or that the glass bottom pool is exciting as it sounds/looks from online photos.

I was flying at a Bali this day, and my flight was not until 11 PM but I had to check out of my hotel, so I was looking for a place to go. I tried to go to the beach club at the four seasons, but they were full, so I called this resort and they said they had openings and just to come over. On arrival they told me they were full, but I could sit in the restaurant, which was disappointing, since I had just called However, they probably got busy. The staff was very nice and the price was affordable, they sent me in the restaurant and let me know that they would get me a daybed if one became available. I enjoyed some cocktails as well as some food and I got some work done and then one of their day beds opened up for me to take. I took a little nap and enjoyed some more cocktails before venturing into the pool, they have a pool that has a glass bottom that goes out over the cliff with a very nice view. All the facilities were very clean and very nice And the layout was nice because even though they were full, it did not seem overcrowded the staff was fairly friendly however, from the daybed, it was kind of hard to get a server for a drink. I would definitely return on my next trip to Bali.

A bit disappointed because from what I have heard from other Filipino travellers, this is a go-to place in Bali. Maybe it's a different experience because I am a solo traveller but let me elaborate. First, the food is a bit overpriced but doesn't justify the price - I guess this is normal across some five star hotels or maybe it is a bit overhyped. Since the entrance fee is a bit expensive I want to take a photo at The Edge pool but the staff was a bit rude and asked me where is my friend, come to think of it if I have a friend would I ask your assistance?! This will probably take not more than 3 minutes and I am not a demanding type of traveller. I also notice they more accomodating with Western travellers - a bit of discrimination I should say. This is not what I expect from an expensive beach club in Bali. Overall, I recommend to skip this if you are a solo traveller. Try other beach clubs. You won't be accomodated well and you'll probably rely on other tourists of help especially in photos. If you are a group of people or family, maybe you can give it a try.

The more I speak about this place the lesser I seem to do justice for it. I had made a reservation for the normal admission slot at 2:30 pm on the 7th of aug 23, on reaching there little did I know I would be in for the best pool bed in the house with a direct view of the Indian ocean. Luxury is at its very best in this beach club , right from the atmosphere to the service to the food 5 ✨ all the way. It is more of a relaxed and a very classy posh vibe you will get over here. Definitely a place for family , friends , and couples. If you are one for a noisy beach party scene , then this is not the place for you. The best part is the location stop the cliff overlooking the cliffs and the ocean and the swimming pool gives you a real at "The Edge" feeling. Thanks to the staff for looking after this place well and seeing to the needs of their clientele with a smile all the time. A general booking slot is for a 4 hour period here. I would rate the VIP and the normal admission way better than the VIP cabana section (as the cabana section just faces the poolside)
