This place is so insanely good, I wish I could give it a million stars. Absolutely mind-blowing. The smoked barbecue pairs perfectly with Indonesian sambal matah — it’s a flavor match made in heaven. This place needs to be listed on the Michelin Bib Gourmand. Even the fries here are ridiculously good.

The outdoor seating feels just like having a laid-back backyard barbecue — nothing overly fancy, but super cozy and inviting. It adds to the charm and makes the whole experience even better.

I just hope this restaurant stays open forever so I can come back every time I’m in Bali, even until the day I die.

The prices are more than reasonable, and you can taste the care and soul put into every single sauce. I seriously hope this place thrives for a very long time. I’m genuinely thankful to the people here for making and serving such delicious food.

One tip: they only accept Indonesian cards or cash, so make sure to bring plenty of cash...

Really good value for the quality especially when compared to the prices on the tourist strip in Ulu. We had the brisket on two occasions and on the second we specifically asked for point end as only the flat was served the first night. Well cooked, well seasoned and good sides. We had both the pork and brisket nasi goreng and both were excellent. The leftovers next day confirmed it. We even had dessert - whichever they had available that night - and no surprise it was tasty and well cooked as well. Beers were well-priced, the garden food court might be a bit run-down but overall it’s quite nice. Plenty of parking and open later than others in the area. Of note is that they use high quality ingredients like imported beef and not the ungraded Aus or local indo — a mark of pride in their product and services. Will be back anytime...

An impressive place combined with homemade cooking, they have quite a wide menu of Indonesian foods, and they also sell a variety of beverages. The food tasted great considering the price, the service was nice, and they have plenty of parking lots. I love the ambiance. On my first visit I ordered a smoked pork bowl, and on my second one I ordered grilled chicken, for the grilled chicken could have been better. If they marinate the chicken, the taste would be more superb. The beverage is amazing, I ordered two times and still want more, is honey lemon ginger, and lemon grass. It keeps me warm in this...
