Puri Sabina Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

We have stayed here for 2 and half months. My son (2 years old) and I. Overall, the stay was very present and the staff members are very nice. I had an electric kettle, so I could cook some simple meals in the room.

Pros: kitchenette space with water faucet, the room is quite spacy and nice, the staff members are very nice, the pool is good size and comfortable, easy to find on gojek and google map, the road at the front of the hotel is very clean and big, easy car and motorbike access, common space has a living room, kitchen, and sofa etc... there is a yoga room available (Air con is broken, so the room is very hot though), walking distance supermarkets (Pepito, coco marts etc...), kids friendly hotel.

Cons: bed mattress was not super comfortable (It was ok), the housekeeping often run out of the fresh towels and bring less towels (Happened almost every week, they bring more towels later or next day), the water stops almost every day for several hours, electricity also drop off often, the neighbor throwed in some garbage into the window sometimes ( I was thrown the fruits garbage into my window even though I was on the 3rd floor, so I recommend not to open the windows often), some electric plugs are not working, the refrigerator was quite dirty(I needed to clean before using it), the doors are difficult to open and close, the carpet under the bed was quite dirty even after many times cleaning (I eventually gave up cleaning and took it away and returned to the hotel storage), housekeeping does not come on schedule and they show up randomly, because of the electricity dropping out, wifi is sometimes not available and unstable, the shower hot water temperature is very random and often ran out of the hot water, big water leaking after heavy rain (Ruined some of my belongings), the cloth cabinet was half-broken, the chairs are also half-broken.

The staff members do multiple tasks such as housekeeping, kitchen, front desk, maintenance etc... so sometimes there is a lack of professionalism because they do multiple things. Like the housekeeping is not a professional level, it is more normal house wife level. But all the staff members are very nice, and some of them are exceptionally nice. We really appreciate their kindness during our stay.

As a hotel, it was quite good value. For a long term, I would stay at the apartment with proper kitchen and equipment for much cheaper price. But for a month or 2 months length vacation, it would be a...

This is a great property but it's just running on it's own. It was built well but it's managed poorly.

Breakfast omlets are cooked daily in a worn out teflon pan. This is terribly bad for everyone's healthy. The staff wash dishes without soap, without hot water, and with moldy scrub brushes. Terrible unhygienic.

Kitchen staff dont wash their hands properly. Maybe consider wearing food preparation gloves when cutting fruits.

The Front desk girl smokes out front and chats on the phone all day. I watched couriers and strangers walk in and out of the lobby because it was not attended by her.

Puri sabina advertises cooking facilities for guests. The cooking facilities are dirty. Inside each cabinet are dead bugs and mold. The underside of shelves in my units kitchen are encrusted with mold. I asked the staff to clean the common area kitchen and they use the same dirty rag to clean everything. No cleaning products used. It's super un hygienic.

The common area toilet never has toilet paper and is infested with mosquitos.

The common areas are not cleaned. The eating areas, the stair well, and walls are all dirty.

Fumigation took place to help with insects but this happened while we were actually in the room. Toxic insect smoke filled our room. We felt ill the remainder of the day.

Overall the cleaning girls have a bad attitude towards even simple requests. They do a good job making the bed but they don't do any thorough cleaning. I think they have never truly been trained on how to clean properly and to identify what is hygienic and what is not. The shower shelving is crusted with grime. The shower corners are filthy.

The bedroom windows and window frames are filthy. Air con unit works but is stained with soot.

This property is well designed and deserves a better operation. It lacks in cleanliness of rooms and common areas. All the walls in our unit are dirty with dead bug guts and grime. Spider webs on the ceiling for the entire stay. Leaking toilet day after day. The first room we were in had stained sheets and duvet. Very disgusting. Overall, a well built property with a general lack of education for cleaning staff which equals a lack or hygiene.

On positive note the young men working at the hotel provided outstanding service. They carry the weight in this properties...

Stayed at one of the villas for 2 days in early July, we were planning to stay there for a week but due to how filthy and disgusting the rooms were we only stayed for 2 days (we would have left after one night but we had a wedding nearby and had no time to find somewhere new). The layout of the villa is nice I will give them that, however everything within the villa itself is either old, broken or damp, the photos shown is when this place was brand spanking new do not be deceived!! The smell of damp ran through the whole place, the smell in the rooms were awful but also one room smelt of sewage. The kitchen was so old, cupboard doors hanging off its hinges, drawers had wood planks missing from them. The floors were absolutely filthy, there's no way that housekeeping cleaned the floors before we had arrived. The bathroom in our room was disgusting, not only dirty but we also had pee stains on the toilet cistern. Filth behind the toilet and bin, with then sink looking like it had never been cleaned, ever! The hot water ran cold or extremely hot, no in between. We could hear everything from the hotel rooms above us and to the side of us, the ppl using the bathroom, walking, talking, etc. In another room in our villa the bathroom light was broken so could not see a thing once it got dark, though maintenance came to fix it during the day they claimed it was all fine and did nothing.
