I consider myself something of a food enthusiast, especially when it comes to authentic Italian cuisine and expertly cooked meats. I’ve dined all over, but rarely have I been so utterly captivated by a restaurant that I felt compelled to write a review after my very first visit… let alone after my fourth visit in a single week!

REV Italian Bistro in Seminyak is nothing short of a culinary revelation. I do not use the term “out of this world” lightly, but I can say with absolute conviction that REV deserves this praise across its entire menu.

For all the lovers of incredible pizza: look no further. The crust is a perfect symphony of crispness and chew, with a smoky char from the wood-fired oven that is pure bliss. The toppings are fresh, generous, and impeccably balanced. But where REV truly ascends to another level is with their meat dishes.

The Slow-Cooked Beef Cheeks are a masterpiece. They are so impossibly tender that they dissolve at the mere touch of a fork, bursting with deep, rich, and complex flavours that speak of hours of loving preparation. Similarly, the Beef Bourguignon is a classic reimagined into something extraordinary – a hearty, soul-warming dish that is both elegant and profoundly satisfying.

I have, quite literally, been working my way through the menu from top to bottom, and I have yet to find a single misstep. Every pasta dish, every appetizer, every last bite has been exceptional.

Beyond the food, which is reason enough to visit, the staff are an absolute credit to this establishment. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. Their warmth and professionalism make an amazing meal feel like a celebrated experience.

I am completely in love with this place. REV isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a destination. If you are in Seminyak and you skip REV, you are missing out on one of the finest culinary experiences Bali has to offer. Bravo to the entire team – I will see you...

I have just passed by walking when the owner of the restaurant stopped me and invited me to go in and try the pizza, as it is the best in Seminyak. First I thought its a trick, but it was surely a true autentic pizza, and I loved it! I loved the pizza dough was easy, light and crispy, as it should be. It is made from sour dough, so you wont get bloated after eating this, as it is easy to digest. I loved also the little soup I received as appeltizer, what a suprise. The vinted orange decoration is vibrant and really cool. I cant wait to go back and try their specialities, like the slow cooked beef cheek. The chef and the manager were also really sweet and kind, like all the local on this island. I loved the fact that the owner came to my table and talked to me. I would have came earlier if I would have recognized easier that it is a real authentic italian restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to every italian food lover. The owner also mentioned the food is from his mother recepie, and I also saw a photo of her in the restaurant, how sweet is this?!

Dined at Rev Bistro and Pizza and it was such a beautiful experience — warm atmosphere, thoughtful service, and dishes that truly impressed.

The highlight? Their Frutti di Mare Pink Sauce Pasta — al dente perfection tossed with fresh seafood, garlic, herbs, and a light tomato sauce that brought everything together so elegantly. Every bite felt like a seaside escape 🌊🍝.

Started with the Calamari Fritti, which was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside — simple, flavorful, and so satisfying.

Paired everything with a glass of fresh orange juice, naturally sweet and refreshing — the kind of drink that feels like sunshine 🍊✨

And finally, dessert: their Tiramisu. Soft layers, just the right hint of espresso, and that creamy melt-in-your-mouth texture. Pure bliss ☕🍰
