Way Manom — Restaurant in Lampung

Actually this is a good restaurant with nice ambience, reminds me of those beachfront restos in Bali.

The main issue is in the service of the staffs. Need to ask thrice only for ordering food, they ignored us and only said “wait a minute” without having an urgency to served us right away. There were mistakes in order quantity as well, so we need to re-order and wait for another minute. When it came to pay the bill, we go directly to the cashier (to make it quick) but the server said to wait on our table and we need to ask her twice to remind her about our bill. Imagine that you need to ask multiple times only to pay the bill, don’t you need me to pay?

All in all the food is just ok, but the Tiramisu is top notch, the coffee is really good too since they used Tanamera coffee. For main dish, try Ayam Ingkung Goreng the chicken is fragrant and sambal is very good.

But as much as I like their Tiramisu and coffee, and I love having a pretty view in front of my dining table, I will not visit this place again in the near time. I hope they will improve the service quality, because what is a good restaurant without having...

We had a lovely dinner right in front of the beach, enjoying the breeze and sound of the waves while savoring an amazing selection of dishes.

We ordered fried chicken, grilled calamari, salmon, grilled beef ribs with balado sauce, and tiramisu for dessert.

The grilled beef ribs were outstanding – tender, juicy, and full of flavor. They were cut into small pieces, making them easy to enjoy. The salmon was cooked perfectly, not dry at all, with a soft, juicy texture that melted in the mouth.

The calamari was a pleasant surprise – it had egg yolk inside, and was still tender and juicy, not rubbery like most places.

To end the meal, we had tiramisu with ice cream. It was absolutely delicious – not overly sweet, and the melted ice cream made it even more enjoyable.

Our family dinner at JW Marriott was a wonderful experience. The restaurant offered a warm and elegant atmosphere that made the evening feel special. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor, with a wide variety of dishes to suit everyone’s preferences. The service was excellent — the staff were attentive, courteous, and made us feel truly welcome throughout the evening.
