Great restaurant with a small menue and great service. The restaurant is very clean and has a few parking spaces right infront of the establishment. The menue is restricted to a few dishes but those dishes are very tasty. The house dish ayam goreng sulawesi is deliciously marinaded chicken served with lime. Also the fish cakes otak otak are a big recommendation as they are served with a special peanut souce that gives then good flavour. Furthermore the restaurant is nicely ventilated and furnished. Too good to be true. The grilled chicken is so recommended. This is one of the must-visit-place if you visit Makassar. This one here isnt too crowded as well (compared to other branches). The waiters and waitresses are nice but please ask them about the size of the menu. We ordered asparagus soup. We thought it would be a small soup for two. Turned out it's the soup that can fit for 4-5 people. Our bad that we didnt ask...

Ayam Goreng Sulawesi, sajikan Resep Asli Sejak 1969

Ayam Goreng Sulawesi (AGS) mulai melayani sejak tahun 1969 dengan menggunakan resep asli hasil kreasi Ny. Hj. Nelly Nursiah Soeparjo dan dikelola langsung oleh beliau.

Pada awalnya hanya berupa tenda 4x 4 meter yang berlokasi di jalan Sulawesi 285 (samping kantor pegadaian). Saat ini pengelolaan AGS di pegang oleh generasi kedua Hj. Astuty Soeparjo

Bahan utama yang di gunakan adalah ayam kampung asli (ayam organic) yang halal, fresh & healthy. Ayam kampung ini berasal dari wilayah pegunungan di sulsel yang dilepas makan secara alami. Ayam ini dipotong setelah mencapai umur 3 bulan dan diolah secara higienis serta di sajikan dengan bumbu khas Ayam Goreng Sulawesi.

Pada awalnya menu yang di sajikan adalah sop ayam, ayam goreng, sup daging, perkedel dan sambal khas AGS.

Pada tahun 1983 AGS membuka cabang di jalan Sultan Hasanuddin no 17 dengan tambahan menu sate ayam dan otak otak.

Tahun 2011 Rumah makan AGS di jalan Sulawesi di renovasi dengan suasana yang baru dan lebih nyaman dengan penambahan menu seafood yang memberikan pilihan baru yang memenuhi sensasi...
