MIKO HOTEL — Hotel in Makassar

The hotel located on Jalan Bandang. It actually part of chinatown region of makassar. The location is not easy find. From the airport, you can go by taxi. Say to the driver that you want to use the toll road (jalan tol), from jalan nusantara, go to the jalan sulawesi and next to the jalan Bandang. There is two optional pay from the airport. First, you could pay by region, at Juli, 2016, the hotel is include the 2nd region,cost at 150K IDR, and second option is you can use the taxi with agrometer, it actually 115-120K + Tol Fee 12 K. Location is located in centre of Makassar, it is not at the main road, however it is still easily accessible. ||||Check in is very fast and efficient. The room and bathroom size is quite spacious for 2 stars hotel standard in Indonesia. The Miko hotel is a typical business hotel without character. The rooms are tiny, but it has modern facilities. The man at the service desk was very helpful and helped us book a bus ticket to rantepao and a hotel. The shower did not get warm and the bed sheets were dirty, with yellow sex stains of previous visitors. They might have been washed, but it definitely did not look clean.
