My Honest Review Based on Personal Experience
I’m writing this review based on my own experience — I have no connection with the owner.
Initially, we planned to visit on the weekend, but had to cancel because the parking lot was full. So we ended up going to the nearest café next door. Today, we decided to give it another try and came for breakfast.
From the start, the security guard named Rahul greeted us politely and helped us find the best parking spot. No illegal parking attendants here — that’s already a big plus for me.
When we entered and tried to find a seat, there were still many empty spots. I had to find my seat by myself; no one from the staff guided me. I asked one of the female staff members, “Can I sit here?” and she said yes. I also had to ask about a baby chair. She didn’t offer one automatically — I think staff should be trained to immediately offer a baby chair when they see a guest holding a baby (mine is 1 year old).
Next, when we were looking at the menu, the staff just stood there without giving any recommendations. Again, I think it would be great if the staff were more proactive and helpful in guiding guests through the menu.
Other than that, everything was great — in fact, excellent. The food was delicious! I ordered the burger and AnyBreakfast. They also gave us a complimentary cheese stick as an appetizer, which my baby loved!
The place itself is beautiful and has a lovely ambiance. The restroom is 5-star — air-conditioned, with Sensatia soap and even fresh flowers! Honestly, it’s the best restroom I’ve seen in any Makassar café so far.
I sat on the first floor indoors and later took my baby outside to the backyard garden — it’s a lovely space. I also walked upstairs, and it blew my mind. Even though it was still early and no one was there yet, the AC was already on, so everything felt clean, cool, and well-prepared.
By the way, I didn’t take any photos because I was focused on taking care of my baby — sorry!
Conclusion:
I love this place. For me, it’s the number one café in Makassar so far — a beautiful atmosphere, excellent food, and affordable prices.
Note:
Please train your staff to be more attentive, humble, and proactive — that way, your café can truly maintain its position as the best...
Read moreThis is a classy restaurant with exquisite decor and artistic dishes, graced with live music, green spaces, and delightful lighting. The staff speak English well and are friendly. Unfortunately they were very slow respond to the call button, our food came out at different times, and they got my friend's order wrong, which is why I'm docking a star from service. Overall, it was still a five star experience, I'd definitely revisit it and try out the Western menu (I ordered Asian). The desserts looked amazing as well....
