Amstirdam Coffee & Roastery — Restaurant in Malang

A lot cafes with coffee as the main menu stand in Malang and Amstirdam is one of them. Not only they serve coffee, they also roast coffee bean themselves.

One prime point deserves appreciation from Amstirdam is their integrity. A few days ago, I ordered some glass of coffee from them online, gojek apps to be exact. One of them was hazelnut latte.The barista unintentionally forget to pour the coffee in it. I called their contact number and send them the picture as an evidence. Not long after, the barista himsel send a freshly brewed hazelnut latte to my house. He apologized and of course I accepted. affordable espresso based coffee... because of the fast flow they update their espresso blend daily, the calibration was done by differ person each shift so expect a defiation from previous experience... there was a time when they serve a beans that should be resting for customer...

if you want a filtered coffee they also offer clever dripper... its rather lacking in my opinion because they treat the various beans using a same timer and ratio... the upside is their menu was affordable

the location is pretty remote.. low noise pollution... but expect a huge influx of another customer at rush hour...

I don't know but their kopi sejuk isn't as good as people often share, so I suggest to buy such as cappucino or piccolo. Something is interesting here that you can watch how they roast the coffee beans--the smell. Because they really intend to make a place for hanging out--not a working space--they only have a good spot for working, with an electricity port, beside the roasting room--a small one--in front of their fridge for milks.
