MAHBOEN Coffee — Restaurant in Malang

I recently visited a coffee shop in Malang, and the atmosphere was incredibly serene and peaceful. The open-exposed architecture gave off a vintage countryside vibe, and the cool, green surroundings made it feel refreshing even without air conditioning.

Unfortunately, there's no parking lot for cars, so you have to park on the street. However, there's plenty of space for motorcycles.

The menu variety is impressive, much more diverse than your typical coffee shop. They even have rice and noodle options. As a coffee lover, I ordered a double espresso, and the coffee tasted very natural and aromatic. I loved it because this place not only offers a great ambiance but also high-quality coffee.

The prices are very affordable for Malang. They also have clean and comfortable prayer rooms and toilets. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, with most people preferring the outdoor area for its tranquil, green atmosphere and pleasant air.

Sold out of V60? Really? Did the coffee order not arrive? I've visited a number of coffee shops/roasteries in Malang and elsewhere, and that's the first time I've seen this. I got an iced americano instead that just tasted off, like liquid cardboard on ice.

The mie ayam was terrible. Noodles were mush, broth was oily and bland. Instant noodles might have been better (and cheaper).

The service was friendly, which earns a star. Music playing was terrible, killing whatever vibe was left after the mie ayam and coffee put my taste buds in a coma. It's a nice place with a spacious seating area. Too bad the food and coffee don't...

I liked this place! 🌟 It’s a nice spot with friendly staff. The food is alright, though the menu doesn’t offer a ton of variety. The coffee? Is mostly fine! ☕ Even the cheapest option I tried tasted good. Prices are super reasonable and down-to-earth, which I really appreciate.

I can’t recommend some of the dishes. The 'ogliolio' is really bad—do not get it. It isn’t creamy and tastes like machine oil. However, the carbonara here is nice and delicious. For coffee, you can get a latte, or the one I ordered, 'Kopi Tubruk,' which is great. Don’t order the 'susu'—it wasn’t good
