Nakoa Cafe Suhat — Restaurant in Malang

I visited this cafe and, unfortunately, had an unpleasant experience with the staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome due to the unprofessional and dismissive attitude of the employees. It was evident that their behavior was influenced by my appearance, which is completely unacceptable in any customer service setting.

No one should be treated differently based on how they look or who they are. A cafe should be a space where everyone feels comfortable and valued, regardless of their personal identity. Discrimination, whether subtle or direct, has no place in hospitality.

I sincerely hope the management takes action to educate their staff on proper customer service and inclusivity. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and respectful...

Many Malang residencies are quite familiar with Nakoa Caffe , there has been two so far but this one is an addition to the branches of Nakoa. Located in Suhat road when entering Permata Jingga residence, it’s a combination of a working space and a hanging out spot for visitors. But for me it’s not as friendly for work as other Nakoa’s especially on the weekends. Visited today and it was packed with teenagers plus families, it has an indoor space and outdoor. The indoor space is freezing as other Nakoa’s you better bring your heavy Jacket if you are Cold-sensitive , Drinks and Snacks choices are as the same as other Nakoa’s, prices also. I really like the atmosphere of the cafe, suitable for work, study or hanging out. but it's a bit crowded, if you are someone who can't be noisy or can't be in a too crowded atmosphere to work and make assignments, I suggest you to go to Nakoa Cafe which is in M.T Haryono instead. For the food, I rate 3/5, I don't really like the mentai crab stick rice (if I don't forget the name), because it tastes just like mentai sauce and rice with added crab flavored spices, while the price is quite expensive. but I really like the matcha latte, chamomile hot tea and the matcha cheese boba.
