Hapa Kitchen — Restaurant in Manado

We found the place by accident as we were strolling the street. I love the nice and comfy design, plus the pop music in the background.

However, we were not so pleased with the food and service.

Firstly, they have no printed menu. You need to scan the QR Code on the table to see the menu online. Our phone signal was bad inside the restaurant and they don't have a WiFi for guests. It took us some time just to see the menu online.

And then nobody came to pick our order. We had to go and find the staff, and order directly at the counter.

The egg and cheese sandwich that I ordered came with burger buns. They might just call it an egg and cheese burger.

The chicken caesar salad was disappointing. The chicken was cold and sour. The salad was good, though.

The staff gathered around the cashier and chat. There was no service after they brought the order to the table.

It's a pity for the place. It really has potential. The building itself is awesome. Instagramable. But I probably won't come back for the food. And the service can definitely...

Great burgers and atmosphere but they could not get the order right, and even argued with us at the end.

We ordered 3 burgers, 1 fries and drinks. Drinks and burgers arrived, and we reminded the server not to forget the fries but they never arrived.

After we ate and waited 5-10 mins we still had no fries so we asked to cancel them as we were almost ready to leave.

Another 5-10 mins we went to pay and they had the fries on the bill. We said we cancelled but they argued that we had ordered and it’s on the bill. Then they confirmed with the person we ordered and with the person we cancelled, and finally agreed to take off the bill.

Very strange experience, first time I ever had to justify like this by checking with all the various...

Firts impression when i enter to hapa is nice place to hang out with your friends and family with elegant design.I ordered several their menu:pasta karbonara,pan seared salmon,hapa burger,bacon cheese burger.taste just average for pasta karbonara because too heavy/creamy i guess(as my personal opinion),good for salmon and burgers.overall all i dont have problem with their foos and drinks and acceptable price.but i have problem with your one staff maybe she is cashier and bring my foot to my table too.i thought hapa should teach her to serve curtomer.first think i have confirm,is she left handed??if no,i just dissapointed with her attitude and how she answer customer.another staff very welcome I hope you...
