Roemah Langko by Putera Lombok — Restaurant in Mataram

We loved our dinner here! Highly recommended for their grilled fish (Ikan Bakar).

We chose the Ikan Bakar Taliwang, which features an authentic sauce from Lombok. It’s savory, sweet, and spicy—so addictive! We went with snapper because we love its firm meat and mild flavor. Although snapper is less sweet than kerapu, it pairs perfectly with Taliwang sauce. Plus, it’s quite affordable at around 90,000 Rupiah for a 500g fish.

The Langko sauce for the crabs was amazing! We loved it, especially with the corn, though unfortunately, the kepiting bako (type of crab) isn’t very meaty, so I didn’t enjoy it as much. But the sauce made up for it!

The plecing kangkung was nothing special.

Refreshing watermelon, very informative and kind staff—overall, a wonderful experience!

But sorry I couldn't make any nice pictures. Honestly we don't expect that much since we never had any good experience with seafood in Lombok Before. But we're happy to know about...

Beautiful restaurant located at the center of Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara.

Beautifully situated at the old, vintage, Dutch – styled house, this restaurant boosts it’s menu for Indonesian cuisine, particularly traditional Lombok food.

We tried ikan bakar taliwang (Lomboknese spicy sauce), Kangkung plecing, beberok and more. Its seafood menu are very abundant. Love its steam grouper, grilled grouper in Taliwang sauce and more.

The entrance has stairs, I don't see the ramps but hopefully they have it somewhere in different area.

The dining area is spacious, wide and ♿️✅ accessible as well. The restaurant has lovely Indonesian and old - Dutch accent, with grand father's clock, gramophone, and more.

Parking lot is big, toilet is clean and the service is good, friendly...

Stunning architecture, Gorgeous interiors, awesome gallery showcasing Lombok garments and jeweleries and spacious dining area.

Truly a perfect place to experience the colonial living nuance.

I was truly amazed by almost everything I see here, but the foods are just ok. The hospitality service was below my expectation for a gorgeous and luxurious place like this. They supposed to deliver a five star hospitality service because the place itself is already 5 star.

No smiles from the staffs. They are more into showing serious look, which for me seem arrogant. Or maybe, their smiles are only for elite people. Aren't we all pay the same amount of money for the foods? Then, we deserve the same quality of services.
