I love this place. The ambient, the vibe, is something that you can expect from a coffee shop. You can have a meeting with your friends here and, speaking from experience, guaranteed to have a good time. Especially if you wanna chill with your friends or loved ones.
The menu here is expected. Just like other coffee shops, they sell, of course, coffee. My favourite was that one coffee called Irish Latte or something. The pancake they serve here looks really fancy, although the flavour was just okay. It's more like a work of art really, rahter than a proper food. Mainly because of the flavour, but not the shape.
The waiters and waitresses did a really nice job on serving us. They are well-manered, they have good communication skills, but most importantly, they don't bring your mood down. Uplifting and forever cheering. Sounds exaggerated but trust me, it's not.
Parking lots are available, you can definitely bring your car there. The access road is not that small. Just follow the Maps, it's placed exactly where it is.
Overall, it's a hidden gem for college students to chill. A great place for both studying and hanging around with your friends. A great example of coffee shop that I wish I could find in any other coffee shops here in Yogyakarta. But unfortunately, it is one of a kind, and I'm glad they keep...
Read moreThis is one of the cool place among coffeshops in town. Eventhough they are located at Jalan Kaliurang, which is near to the dense area of the city of Yogyakarta, they are able to offer you garden scenery at the outdoor area. This place has 2 areas: outdoor and indoor area. The outdoor area can amount around 40 people at once (with the table of 4); while the indoor area itself, you can find 2 sharing table that can amount of 8-10 people and 6 people, also there are some tables for 2 and 4 people. They also have 2nd floor for the indoor area that can amount of around 8 people at once. The menu they offer are quite various from snacks, beverages, and main courses. For those who drive or ride their own vehicles, do not worry since the parking lot itself quite big. It can park 13 cars, and 20 motorcycles at once. They also offer you table tennis and let you play freely, and this is what is popular among the customers besides the garden scenery. There are two things that you should aware when going there: first you need to go down to the "Maze" of Pogung, and second is it is located on the one-way corner road where some still pass by and oftenly...
Read moreIts like discovering a precious gem in pogung kingdom. I was going to a friend's place and passed by some bushes and saw this cafe. And i decided to do my studying there. I really like calm places so i thought some "sepi" place is best. And! Loved it! Great coffee. I ordered some mocchachino.. perfect for me. They also had this promo cappucino and brownies. Also delicious. Meals are not available but they serve some of the best onion rings i have ever had. Not to mention the very neat and pretty plating The place! Its like an architectural heaven. And they have bird.. so kinda therapeutic for my stressed brain. And they have a very creatively designes second floor as well as outdoor parts which is best for some group meet ups.
The only downside is that it can get quite hot even in the air-conditioned parts i guess cos the aircond is not powerful enough? And at evening some mosquitos there... But it was a raininh season and many semak semak around the deserted corner of pogung so.. and the light is a little dim. For studying with books maybe better bring some mini lighting stuff. I was studying on my iPad so it wasnt much...
