Warung Kopi Synergy - Kopi Samosir — Restaurant in North Sumatra

Had some amazing coffee at Synergy, and Oliver showed us the entire production process—from coffee cherry to bean to, of course, a great cup of coffee. We had the espresso, and it tasted excellent. It’s no surprise that he wins awards with it—recently ranking in the top 5 of the best Indonesian coffees.

What makes this place even more special is that Oliver works closely with local farmers, educating and supporting them in improving both the quality and quantity of their coffee beans.

Wow..just wow. The pandang coffee (Coffee Klepon) was incredibly delicious, nothing like I've ever had before. The Art of Jamu drink was also very tasty (sweet, almost like a Christmas dessert drink). Food was spot on, but the drinks really won the show for us! The road that it's on is a bit deceiving but persevere, google maps is correct. Great for a pick-me-up when driving between the island...
