Hidden gem restaurant that serves authentic and cheap cuisine. Their special is Dendeng Batokok with chili (green) and their fried egg is the best around town. Crowded during lunch time. Very crowded and but efficient makan house. You sit and they would ask you what do you like and bring the dishes to you instead of the traditional way of stacking all the plated infromt of you. I have their gulia jengkol, ayam bakar and cracker to go with the rice. Top up with a sweet avocado drink for 56k. Highly...

The place is fast-paced. You can either go upfront and request for the food you want, or you can place your order at your table. Highly recommended for its cabe ijo (green chilli). It's close to Ibis Hotel, Padang, so you can drop off your bags and get down there for some lunch but beware for the line. Highly...

The rendang and batokok beef jerky here were the champions... the spice gravy was great... the chili sauce was delicious.. the teh talua (egg-tea) was also really tasty... the price was very pocket-friendly... The problems here were: (1) the cleanliness of the place should be improved, and (2) parking was still limited.
