One of the best home-cook restaurant ever existed, the lodeh soup (Java traditional vegetable soup with coconut milk) taste was absolutely outstanding. There were some types of lodeh to choose from : lodeh with tempe, lodeh with tofu, lodeh with young papaya, lodeh with eggplant; and also menus other than lodeh namely sayur asem and sayur sop. There were some condiments to compliment the main dish such as deep fried omelette (the signature condiment), fried tempe, fried tofu, fried chicken, sambal dadak, crisp, and desserts such as fried banana and fried jadah (white glutinous rice). For the drinks, you could choose between traditional brewed tea, klotok coffee, and traditional brewed ginger. The price of the foods were absolutely affordable. The place was not too large but there were some open spaces to dine outdoor with tikar as a base and some small terrain of paddy fields to look at. The main house carried the concept of Joglo with typical ornaments of Jogja in them. The vibes were serene and amazing, loved it! In conclusion this was a must-visit place when you ever visited Jogja, if I could give a 6-stars I would definitely give them away!

The place relative good and comfortable and you can see ricefield overthere and you feel like back to the nature with fresh air and enviroment, the cuisine mostly traditional homemade food and the atmosphere like in your home, for some people look pawon 'javanese traditional kitchen' is a good experience, for me it's getting back when i was young in grandmother kitchen. The taste also good, but beware with some food because they spicy enought, for me who don't like spicy food i not like to much with lodeh lombok :) . You can try 'omelete' in your plate, but it's really different taste and shape if you compare with western thing of omelete. And mostly recommend if you take a order is Fried Banana. In here fried banana contain brown sugar . And for some people it will level up the taste because the sweatness more autentic rather than common white sugar. I'm personaly didn't expect that is brown sugar until my partner explain me the consistency in the fried banana. This place is really popular in a local community, so if you wanna go to there.. you must be patient.. Sometimes a lot of queue, mostly in lunch or breakfast time and holiday season

When you go to Yogyakarta, don't forget to stop by Warung Kopi Klotok to enjoy home-cooked dishes with a rural atmosphere. Although the home-cooked dishes are quite affordable, the taste of the food is delicious. If you want to eat a heavy meal, you can eat white rice with a choice of various lodeh vegetables, omelettes, fried chicken, sour vegetables and vegetable soup. If you just want to drink black coffee while chatting or enjoying the natural scenery around you, you can order fried bananas, fried tempe and fried dadah. If you can't drink coffee, you can drink plain hot tea, sweet hot tea, hot & sweet iced tea and mineral water. The place is spacious and you can choose to sit indoors or on a mat in an open space. The system here is to eat and drink first and pay later. What makes you miss it here is the fried bananas with a sweet and soft taste, as well as the lodeh and black tubruk coffee. You can park your motorbike and car around the shop.Try to come outside of meal times because you will definitely have a long queue.

Yogyakarta, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage, has been a wellspring of inspiration for its residents, leading to a flourishing of artistic expression. Kelotok Cafeshop offers an authentic Yogyakarta dining experience, showcasing daily meals prepared using traditional methods. The restaurant is a magnet for visitors, both locals and tourists alike, who are eager to explore its offerings. The home-cooked dishes are a delight for hungry patrons, although the wait times can be quite lengthy. While the prices are relatively affordable, some customers might find them to be slightly on the higher side considering the overall experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, the dining experience, including the food and menu, could be rated as a 6. There is no Halal logo on the menu at this restaurant. The restroom facilities are somewhat distant and not well-maintained. Despite a spacious parking area and parking attendants, the establishment may struggle to accommodate the influx of visitors effectively.

A place to eat located in the middle of a village and with farm field side. What an interesting place. They have traditional home foods of Javanese. Served in buffet there were Sayur Lodeh sukun (breadfruit and some vegetables cooked with coconut milk) , Urap (mixed vegetables with grated coconut), soup, and many others menus and also some Fries. And traditional Coffee..! There were very crowded and we have to join a long line to get the food. Extra patient needed but too exiting to try. They provided tables and chairs, and also amben (a large seated so some people can sit on it). And there was outside sitting at the terrace or down sitted near the farm field. The village ambience so thick. They keep the old house as mainly so no access for wheelchair. But inside the house you'll find old stuff like old radios, old irons and some statements from public figures. They have restroom, clean ones and the cashier is very at unusual spot. It's cash only.

One of the fantastic traditional restaurant near with Merapi Volcanos. This place served a traditional food and drink with a fantastic reasonable price. The ultimate menus was Kopi Klothok, it is a coffee with special ingredients. Food are various, they served like a buffet. But the main menu was Javanese taste. If you using a vehicle here, don't worry, they have a large parking space in front of the main building. Basically Warung Kopi Klotok divided into two separated area, the outdoor setting and indoor. Indoor area is specialised by Javanese ancient interior with fully engraving door and windows. In the outdoor setting, you will blessed by the Merapi Volcano and paddy field in front of your seating. With the fresh airing provided, it's makes you more comfortable killing your time here with family or group of friends. Highly recommended for family visit.
