Kaliurang area offers you authentic javanese food with under bar prices (i spent only 180rb on 5 people) yet taste originally delicious. This typical restaurant signature is crispy egg (telur gimbal) and crispy fried tempe mendoan. Of course self- service main course are mangut asap, goreng, soun which comes spicy, lodeh and vegetable soup. Very rich tasted, mangut asap is my fave
The ambience is traditional javanese omah joglo they have one main joglo in the center and its right wing where you can order tempe, pukis and telor gimbal. They have lesehan area and few saung/ small pendopo at the back. Small musholla is in the left side of the main joglo
We came at the 4th Day of Lebaran holiday, for these crowded daya their service is quite quick with arrival time 11 pm.
Though we stop here by accident (the famous toko sebelah the klotokan is insanely queuing) yet i satisfied with our family lunch. Such a saviour. One thing i missed is they dont serve crispy banana fried but they have this carabiking with taste...

This Cafe located near with "Kopi K". We were headed to Kopi K itself. But we didn't get any place to park our Hiace. I thought it was one management for Kopi.
Suprisingly, it was 9am in the morning. Many tourists came for breakfast, using cars also bikes. Nice! Super crowded for any place call KOPI in this area. Because the place surrounded with nature view- mountain, grass field, fresh air, villager area.
Food - that no spicy : Telur Crispy, Tempe Mendoan, ( our children, only ate these. beside the snack Coro Bikang.
Other than that, all the foods are spicy- I mean really spicy ^__^
Taste good, my fave of course that spicy MANGUT LELE asap + Gori - sayur nangka ( lucky me, my gastric was OKAY).

I recently visited Kopi Bukan Luwak and had an interesting experience. I noticed that it is under the same management as Kopi Klotok, and the taste of the food was somewhat similar.
I visited on a weekend and was pleased to find no queue, which was a positive sign. The ambiance of the place was charming with a vintage vibe, creating a unique atmosphere.
However, when it came to the food, it didn't stand out for me personally. The dishes were quite spicy, which I struggled with since I'm not a fan of extremely spicy food.
