the "mbah ganis" shop, is in Tlogo Putri, wide parking lot, for bike/motorcycle or car and bus, the place is pretty, especially in night view, usually open in afternoon, then closed in around of 2-3am, depends on the number of buyers/cust who come.

foods and drinks. almost same like the other food stall nearby. but, they were sell a java/yogyakarta traditional drinks.

for the environment, this is what make "mbah ganis" become special among other stall. they have the most large space. 4 diff backround place to sit, 1. in the front shop semi indoor-outdoor, lil space for 4-6 person. javanic style, with javanese mask on wall, wood etc. 2. long iron table with flysheet above it outdoor, for 6-10 people. 3. in the rear outdoor , around 3-4 beach tables with chair for 2-4 person for each tables. the view is the backyard, and a water stream. and the last, the indoor around 6-8 tables, for 2-4 person each, have a power outlet.

but unfortunately with all of the lovely and pretty environment, sad to be truth, the foods, and drinks, are more pricey than other stall, and also, you will gonna wait a lot, for your order to be delivered, even when you are the only person there as customer, hahaha. imagine if the place are crowded. :) good luck, thats all i can tell you guys about "mbah ganis". for for reading my review....

An important note to be considered if you are going to there: Dont go there if you expect to get main course when you are hungry and/or in rush.

In my experiences, they do not prepare well. I mean, the foods there are not ready to cook yet, so, I guarantee that you should wait long for your meal to be served (you can confirm this by asking people who already went there). So, I recommend you to go there with your friends and talking while waiting for your meal to be ready to serve. Despite, the meal was good. The prices are affordable. The place can amount around 60 people at once. The parking lot itself can amount a lot of cars and motorcycles (since it is located on the road to Telaga Putri of Kaliurang). The scenery (if you come at day) is good. Sometimes you can find the monkeys go down on ghe street, but do not worry since they would not go...

A nice comfortable place on kaliurang to hangout with your friends or family. The place is cozy, with cool mountains air, it is very refreshing to hangout in this place. Price is affordable, not cheap but still not on the expensive side.

Their specialty is fried rice with tongseng broth, I forget what it's called. It is delicious, with strong flavour kicks. Spices rich, it will keep you warm on the cold air. Tongseng and satay is delicious too. Downside of this place is that in crowded hour, serving time is very long. It can take about 1-2hours on...
