Martabak HAR Masjid Agung — Restaurant in Palembang

Everyone said this place and the food are popular and I'm interested in trying it. It's not what I expected in the end, the taste of Martabak is just so-so and it has a blended taste. The spices on the food didn't really come out or is it just my appetite gone wrong?

The service was good at ordering and asking the menu, but when it comes to the payment.. Mehhh it's too old a system for me or some people HAHA. They didn't offer payment using cards or QRIS, just CASH! LOL 🤣

Even the cashier was very rude to my friend (female) who tried to pay for the meals, my friend needed to ask more than three times for a payment method other than cash and the answer wasn't helpful at all.

Won't come again to this place as the cashier was useless...

I tried 2 martabak HAR places while I was in Palembang, this is one of them. Their curry is just okay as it wasn’t so spicy and wasn’t thick either. But their martabak, wow. So buttery and crispy. I’d come back for sure. As my friend and I arrived here, the driver told us to ask for “a hot one” to the seller since sometimes, they serve you a “has been cooked for several minutes, although still on the stove” one.

ps: I called this place, and they closed at midnight. So, you’re good for a late...

It's delicious, today I had lunch there, it's a shame I didn't take some pictures because I was hungry , this is the first time I eat here I usually eat at the shop next door, but it turns out that the martabak here is delicious, the taste is right for my taste, also the place is not too cramped so it's not worry...
