Palembang's only Sushi Tei is located near the heart of the city. Very strategic location and you won't be disappointed for coming here.

The restaurant is a standalone building right by Taqwa Mosque. It evokes a sense of high class dining. The inside is very modern, cozy, and it feels like that sort of place where you get gourmet sushi (you don't get gourmet sushi, but the food here was great).

Sad thing is, I don't remember what I ate here but the food was definitely delicious. I remember I had Maguro Nigiri, though, and it was the best Maguro Nigiri I've had in Palembang. The place also has a conveyor belt sushi thing going on - slightly expensive but then again, it's worth the money if you're craving sushi and nowhere near Japan.

We were 6 people and the bill came out to 900 thousand. This is comparable to Ichiban Sushi's price tag of 300 thousand for 2 people. Yet, Sushi Tei is much better.

Sushi Tei restaurant is one of the most common sushi franchise in Indonesia. They have restaurants in various cites in Indonesia such as Palembang, Jakarta, Denpasar, etc.. This is a good sushi restaurant. Always crowded when the peak time.. But, sometimes the restaurant is full booked. So make a reservation first if you want to try this without taking much time queuing..

The restaurant provide good quality japanese food including sushi, ramen, salad and shomen (cold noodles).. Sushi Tei is not original sushi, the taste had been adjusted for Indonesian's public consumption.. The place is so popular because of its great taste. You maybe pay more expensive than another sushi place but the price worth it.. The Sushi was very good and fresh, but barely available at the sushi circle so you must order from the menu.. My favorite was Crunchy lobster roll, Jumbo dragon roll, yakiniku salad and...
