Pondok Sate danguang danguang nan asli masakan bet bur — Restaurant in Payakumbuh

I first tried this kind of sate here in Payakumbuh—now it’s easily the best sate I’ve ever had! The meat is incredibly tender—I’m still amazed how they get the meat to be that soft and juicy.

They serve the satay directly on the table with 10 skewers per person, and you only pay for what you eat. (Of course, with flavor this good, we finished everything and even got some to go!)

We had 3 portions and it cost around 110k IDR—very worth it for the taste and quality.

Highly recommended—definitely coming...

In my opinion the taste was tasteless if compare to "MakSukur" satay. As I myself as "Padangnese" it's like eating without ingredients. And also too expensive for such street...

Kalo lewat Kota Payakumbuh, sempetin deh nyobain sate Danguang Danguang Bet Bur ini... di sebelahnya ada juga sate Danguang2 juga, tapi menurut lidah awam seperti saya, ya mirip2 sih rasanya...tinggal selera aja mau makan yg mana... Menunya simpel hanya sate daging sapi dan ketupat yang dikasih kuah satenya... satenya disajikan terpisah di piring... ga perlu dihabisin satenya yg terhidang di meja, karena nanti dihitungnya...
