If you're a dimsum enthusiast searching for an authentic experience, look no further than Haka Dimsum, located in BSD. This quaint little shop offers a wide selection of delectable dimsum dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings.

One of the standout features of Haka Dimsum is the variety of choices available. From classic favorites to unique delicacies, their menu caters to every dimsum lover's preferences. However, what truly sets this place apart is their exceptional Chong Fan, a dish that is rarely found in other dimsum restaurants. The silky smooth rice noodle rolls filled with flavorful ingredients will leave you longing for more. For Muslim diners, Haka Dimsum is a haven as they adhere to halal practices, with no pork and lard used in their recipes.

During my visit to Haka Dimsum, I arrived during a less busy period, which meant no waiting list. The restaurant offers two seating areas: one with air conditioning for non-smokers and another open area with fans. As you step into Haka Dimsum, you'll be greeted by a charming ambiance reminiscent of an old, abandoned restaurant building. Vintage Chinese posters and utensils adorn the walls, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. During my visit, the nostalgic tunes of F4 playing in the background took me back to my childhood.

In terms of pricing, Haka Dimsum strikes a balance between affordability and quality. With dishes ranging from IDR 20k to 35k per plate, it offers great value for money. While the drink options are somewhat limited, they still manage to provide enjoyable beverages to complement your meal. The taste of the dimsum at Haka Dimsum is simply extraordinary. Their chili oil is a star condiment that elevates the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, Haka Dimsum is a must-visit destination for dimsum enthusiasts. With its authentic menu, friendly Muslim-friendly options, affordable prices, and delightful ambiance, it guarantees a memorable...

Really didn't know whats the hype of this place 😕

Hakau - Just so so, skin/ wrappers too thick and not so chewy. Shrimp itself not so juicy.

Xiao Long Bao - Again, skin/ wrappers too thick. Chicken fillings not juicy, no soup coming from the inside. XLB supposed to be eaten with you poking the skin so that the hot soup inside didn't burnt you, the fact that i could eat this like a Siomay is a hard no no (means that there's no hot soup inside AKA insides were dry af).

Cakwe Cheung Fun - Personally didn't like its textures. Cakwe's kinda dry and hard to chew. Sauces just fine, bit bland if i must say.

Chili Oil Noodle - Actually this one's might be the decent one. The only problem is its way too spicy for me. Altho i couldn't finish this dish, its still the nicest among all.

Pao Telur Asin - Why this is sooo sweet???, it called Salted Egg for a reason, needs to be a lil salty. Also why the insides soo runny??. Needs something thickens i think.

Didn't try the other food on table (believed its Nasi Stim(?)) so ofc no comment about that.

Don't know why we got a meh experience, is it because we arrived late? (circa 10PM) But hey, this place claimed to opened for 24hrs rite? 10PM's customers supposedly still got the...

Haka maintained the great taste and ambience in this new branch. Maintaining the taste in a new branch is not an easy feat, two thumbs up for them. But to say everything was perfect was not the truth either. I came here on Sunday morning, the store was full packed, hectic. Somehow their system was not working well in relation to the ordering system. Like they didn't know which order has been sent or not yet been sent. Hey you crave for the attention right?! Got to keep up with the game, if you catch my drift. But the most bothersome part was, they DIDN'T ACCEPT PAYMENT ACCEPT BCA DEBIT CARD!!! AND THEY FAILED TO MENTION THAT! Do you actually want people to create a scene when they didn't know this? Humiliate an ill-informed customer that didn't bring BCA card/only have cash on them? At least you could've instruct the guard that manned the line to inform customers coming in about this. Not a good first impression on terms of service. Go work on...
