Mama Amy Brunch and Dinner — Restaurant in Pondok Aren

I tried two dishes during my visit:

Salted Egg Chicken – surprisingly tasty! The rice was plump and pulen, pairing nicely with the chicken. It came with fish sauce for extra saltiness, but honestly, I didn’t need it since the flavor was already just right. For those who prefer stronger salted egg taste, it might feel a bit mild, but for me it was perfect.

Beef Aglio Olio – another pleasant surprise. The garlic flavor really stood out. I ordered the non-spicy version (since the default is spicy), and it still tasted great. The spaghetti was a little overcooked compared to al dente, but personally I enjoyed it more that way.

The atmosphere is lovely, with a western-inspired setting. Seats are comfortable, and they provide electric plugs under the tables – very convenient. The space is bright thanks to the high glass ceiling, and the second floor offers more seating (indoor, outdoor, and balcony), plus a musholla – definitely a plus point.

Service is also friendly and attentive. The food came in about 10–15 minutes, which I’d say is a decent waiting time. Families are welcome too, as they provide baby chairs.

Overall, this is a nice place to hang out, and I’d love to come back to try other menu items. The only downside is that the price feels a little on the high side, but hopefully they’ll balance that out...

Pros

The place is well designed.. they have a cute little Musalah on the second floor which is very clean .. the food is very delicious.. the staff are very friendly and they have a small parking in front of the restaurant. They had only one burger sandwich but it was delicious.

Cons

The biggest negative to this place are the prices.. small little piece of cake is almost 65K RP.. I know that the cake design is artistic and pretty.. but it's very expensive..

Also, I did not like the fact that the cakes and the pastries are not on the menu.. but you go to a little glass stand and choose the cake without knowing how expensive it is

Their drinks are also expensive starting from 45k RP for juice

We were three people and ordered three meals and two drinks and three pieces of cake.. the bill was almost 700K RP

That's very expensive for us.

Also another negative is that they don't have a lot of...

The resto is quite nice but the parking lot is lees and is not comfy in case we need something from the car needs to ask vallet or we go ourself which is too far..the staff was polite n pro food is ok I was try the pasta aglio and it was salt I didn't taste the garlic yet ..overall is just good more improvement on some spot I suggest on the top.thank Mama Amy I had great time having meal...
