PSY Steamboat Yakiniku Bintaro — Restaurant in Pondok Aren

Fair taste for a fair price. The interior is not as fancy as the exterior. I dined at night so it didn't feel very hot inside even though there's no AC. Good air circulation so we don't suffocate from the steam and smoke of our cooking activities. Each table have two separate stoves, one for grilling yakiniku and one for boiling the steamboat soup. The stoves are easy to operate. Each table is provided by a table-spoon-sized margarine to make the meat doesn't stick to the grilling pan, a yakiniku sauce, a special chili sauce, dry tissue, bamboo chopsticks, plastic straws, and tools for the steamboat. The yakiniku meat is nice. It is served with sliced onion and yakiniku marinate sauce. On each plate of meat, there's a piece of non chewable tendons, but the rest is fine. The steamboat is good. There are two soups, regular and tom yam. I tried the regular. The soup is clear and not too thick, a bit salty though but the staff can give you extra water to dial down the saltiness. The vegetables are fresh. There are fish meatballs, crabcakes, siomay, sliced chicken and beef. All in all, it's a good value-for-money experience. Definitely will return...

I tried steamboat & yakiniku. Tom yum broth was good. Beef-chicken-sausage was tender, remember to dip in the sauce. Affordable price. No AC, in the evening still feel hot. Sangat mengenyangkan, bisa sharing untuk 3-4 orang (1 paket steamboat, 1 yakiniku, 2 nasi). Pelayannya sangat responsive.
