Srasi Coffee & Eatery - Bintaro — Restaurant in Pondok Aren

The food: We ordered some dishes. Onion Ring, Singkong Goreng and Mala Chicken Popcorn as the appetizer. The Onion Ring was cover with thick dough (almost like tiny donuts) so it wasn't as crispy as expected and made us full too soon. Singkong Goreng was good but the Mala Chicken was too salty, so I think better to eat this one with rice. As the main course, we ordered Sop Iga Goreng (our favorite), Laksa, Mie Goreng Seafood and Nasi Goreng Seafood. They were perfect. For the drinks, we got Teh Manis Panas, Teh Tawar Panas, Es Teh Manis and Jeruk Songkit Panas (this one was pretty sour, so I suggest you to ask more sugar). Then for the dessert we ordered Pisang Goreng Srikaya, Avocado Afogato and Chocogato, they are also recommended.

The service was good, we didn't wait too long for the foods to be served and their hospitality made us felt even more comfort. Then, what makes me give 4 stars is because we tried to make a reservation by phone, but they said we didn't have to, since we would only book for 4 people. Thank God we didn't get there too late, cos if we did, we wouldn't be able to get the table that we wanted.

The restaurant it self was really comfy and got a warm ambient. Toilets were clean and the AC also work properly. They provide outdoor and indoor dining.

The parking lot wasn't too spacey, but you can park on the road side (car and motorcycle).

The prices were worthy enough considering the service, ambient, the servings and the portion.

Srasi Coffee & Eatery is a Cafe/Restaurant that has very nice ambiances. It's clean & comfortable. It's also cheaper if you compare it to another Cafe Restos in Bintaro. The foods look & taste really good. The foods are mostly very Indonesian & they really suit to my taste, although if I'm being honest, there aren't many to choose.

I ordered Rice and Fish with Curry Sauce. I expected a different kind of curry but overall, the curry tastes fine while the fish itself feels so soft and delicious. I also ordered chicken popcorn and it's the best chicken popcorn I've ever tasted. But mind you, the chicken popcorn is a snack so it comes with small a portion. For the beverages, I had a Cold Milk Coffee. I love the coffee and the mug is really cute.

Overall, it's a cafe resto that I think is perfect for a whole...

Cozy early breakfast spot with both light and heavy options.

The food was above average, with surprisingly good portions and affordable prices for this kind of eatery.

Buntut Goreng needs more saltiness to balance the sweetness and the fattiness of the meat, soup would be lovely with the addition of pepper.

Nasi Goreng Kambing only had a few chunks of meat, but its biggest disappointment was that it's served without pickles nor sambal, two inseparable condiments of this dish.

Service was proper but with mixed ups. We're told Sate Kambing wasn't ready but the table next to ours got it.
