Me and my friends came here accidentally because the crowd make us curious. Turns out D’Bamboo mostly serve the typical snack from Pontianak.
We ordered Choi pan/Chai kwe, the traditional snack like vegetable dumpling. It can be served as steamed orf fried Chai Kwe. The taste is good, 1 portion is enough for 2-3 people. Then we order 2 shaved ice, the portion is soooooo big like 1 portion is also enough to feed 2-3 people. The taste is sweet but mot to sweet and full of toppings!

Read moreLast time I was here, I ordered tiaw with meatballs. The tiaw was bland. Not sure if that was the standard taste here. The meatballs were good, the broth was tasty. Only the chicken tiaw was not OK.
The dumplings, however, were tasty. Recommended, if the dumpling skin could be thicker so that would not easily be torn.
