Me and my friends came here accidentally because the crowd make us curious. Turns out D’Bamboo mostly serve the typical snack from Pontianak. We ordered Choi pan/Chai kwe, the traditional snack like vegetable dumpling. It can be served as steamed orf fried Chai Kwe. The taste is good, 1 portion is enough for 2-3 people. Then we order 2 shaved ice, the portion is soooooo big like 1 portion is also enough to feed 2-3 people. The taste is sweet but mot to sweet and full of toppings! After all the restaurant is good to hang out with friends, it has many seats indoor and outdoor. The price is nice and affordable, and the service is kinda swift.

Last time I was here, I ordered tiaw with meatballs. The tiaw was bland. Not sure if that was the standard taste here. The meatballs were good, the broth was tasty. Only the chicken tiaw was not OK. The dumplings, however, were tasty. Recommended, if the dumpling skin could be thicker so that would not easily be torn. Service: a waitress wrongly served our orders. Atmosphere: quite nice, although it was a pack of visitors at that time.

Makanan: Secara rasa baik, makanannya enak-enak dan rata-rata pas di lidah. Ayam Penyet Panggangnya Ok, ayamnya cukup empuk, harga terjangkau 26rb/paket. Mie Pangsit Seafoodnya juga OK, rasanya selalu konsisten dari dulu. Harga juga 26rb/porsi + ada pajak 10% Semoga saja tetap konsisten untuk seterusnya. Pelayanan : Masih perlu ditingkatkan. Sempat minta merica untuk campur ke mie pangsit, dijawab pelayan gak ada. Lalu setelah minta tolong disediakan, dijawab baik/OK, tau tau tak prnh datang mericanya tanpa konfirmasi ulang. Cukup aneh sih, resto makan sepopuler ini gak disediakan merica bubuk, warung pojok kecil aja selalu ada. Mestinya jangan pelit sediakan merica karena namanya mie pasti ada pengunjung yang membutuhkan untuk menambah citarasa pada mie pangsitnya. Untuk penyajian cukup cepat kalau sedang tidak ramai. Suasana: seperti warung makan sederhana biasa tanpa suasana dekor yang estetik. Pengunjung cukup ramai. Meja makan tersedia cukup banyak. Bisa indoor maupun outdoor. Parkir berbayar.

Located in Jl. Veteran. Selling various "Bakmi", "Mietiaw", "Es Serut" and "Chaikwe". The prices are about 15k - 27k rupiahs (exclude taxes). My recommendation menu is "Paket Lengkap" (Complete Set), grilled/fried chicken (which you can choose breast or thighs) with big bowl of rice, tempe, fried chilli sauce, cracker, a small bowl of soup and some vegetables. The "chaikwe" taste also...
