Warung Bu Lely Khas Tugu Pahlawan Surabaya — Restaurant in Probolinggo

I got there by following my friend recommendation, after i tried it, i would recommend it to you; everbody who want to have a nice lunch in Probolinggo.

It located in downtown, at the road near rail station. The street is two-way (by the way, be careful, many one-way road in this city). Parking space was quite small, it just using the roadside which approximately 0,5 meter wide, so your car will at half or more block the road. But don’t worry, it is ordinary in this city. For the safety, a parking man is on duty, he will help you in parking when you come and go out (so far, all parking man i met in Probolinggo was very kind and have a good skill at directing the car; two thumbs up for them).

I had a fried duck and a fried chicken, it all cost 56.000 rupiah. Fried chicken was sizeable, i think it was a-quarter part of an adult chicken; big enough to make you full even without having rice. Those two tasted nice.

This resto provides two kind of sambal for each food: sambal korek and sambal tomat, also i got bumbu hitam, that typically on maduranese fried duck, for the duck as well as the chicken. But i don’t know, i don’t got those bumbu hitam when i dine in on the resto, both for chicken and duck.

Salah satu warung lalapan bebek yang enak menurut saya. Daging bebek empuk dan tidak berbau prengus (bau khas daging bebek), serta berukuran lumayan besar. Terdapat 2 jenis sambal saat disajikan yaitu sambal bawang dan sambal tomat. Sayang pada saat saya berkunjung, sambal bawangnya terasa terlalu asin bagi saya. Kalau sambal tomatnya enak. Pelayanan cepat untuk menu tertentu yaitu menu lalapan bebek goreng namun untuk menu bebek krispi lumayan lama menunggu. Tempat tidak terlalu luas dengan lahan parkir apa adanya karena berada di pinggir jalan. Kebersihan bisa dibilang bersih namun lantai dan meja terasa oily (licin terkena minyak) ciri khas warung yang menyajikan gorengan sebagai menu andalan. Terdapat westafel dan sabun cuci tangan yang besar. Tidak ada smoking room sehingga pengunjung bisa merokok sebebas-bebasnya tanpa peduli pengunjung lainnya.
