Phuket — Restaurant in Semarang

First of all - I really love Thai food and have been to many restaurants that serve the authentic taste and let me tell you… this it not it. 🫣

I wonder if this is localized to Indo taste or if we just ordered the wrong items? We ate early during the day so we wanted something lighter than the usual meal but only the mango sticky rice was good.

Pad Thai tasted like kway teow, salad was not sour (only spicy), sorely lacking in vinegar taste, curry was more like a chicken stew, and the drinks which I was expecting to be really strong were diluted.

Was really sad about this. I see some good reviews so maybe it’s a localized taste. But I really wouldn’t call this authentic...

Yummy and affordable.

My daughter is really love the salted egg prawn, the prawn itself is quite big size and it was worthed the price.

The pad thai is so so, more like a standard fried kwetiau. The Hatyai grilled chicken is also a bit thin but the taste is not bad.

The place itself has no aircon but surprisingly their toilet is very clean, not even notice any single spot.

Will come back here soon to try out their...

9/10 nyobain Makanan Thailand di daerah Candisari. di sini tentunya menyediakan makanan khas Thailand yang beraneka ragam. yang saya order Sup Tom Yam Seafood 55k, dari beberapa tom yam yang pernah saya coba, tom yam di sini kuahnya paling asam dan rempahnya paling terasa. Ketan Mangga 28k, ketannya lembut, buah mangganya manis, namun fla nya menurut saya cenderung lite, bagi saya kurang gurih. Cumi Goreng Tepung 40.5k, tepungnya crispy dan cuminya empuk, tidak alot, dan saya suka sausnya enak pedas manis 👍🏼 Nasi Goreng Lada Hitam 38k, porsinya banyak, gurih dan manisnya pas, lada hitamnya terasa. Soda Gembira 23k, manis dan segar. Gurame Bakar Thai 114k, saya take away jadi tidak kefoto, sambalnya sejenis sambal bawang yang manis dan gurihnya pas, ada rasa asam segar dari jeruk, tidak terlalu pedas sehingga bisa dinikmati siapa saja 👍🏼 walaupun harganya agak pricey, tapi tempatnya bersih, pelayanannya cepat, ramah...
