I recently had the opportunity to dine at "Daun Curry," located at Teras Kota Shopping center. While the overall experience had some positive aspects, I must express my disappointment with the quality of their curry dishes.
The ambiance and service at "Daun Curry" were commendable. The restaurant provided a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff members were attentive and polite throughout my visit.
Additionally, their Roti naan and chanai dishes were exceptionally well-prepared, showcasing the skill and dedication of the kitchen staff. The Mango Lassi I ordered was a delightful blend of sweet and sour flavors, making it one of the best I have tasted in Indonesia so far.
However, I regret to inform you that I was highly disappointed with the quality of your curry.
As an avid enthusiast of authentic Indian cuisine, I was particularly intrigued to visit your restaurant, which is known for specializing in Indian dishes. I expected a comprehensive understanding and mastery of the art of preparing curry, which is widely regarded as an essential component of Indian food. Regrettably, the curry I tasted did not meet my expectations, and I believe it fell short of the reputation your restaurant has earned.
The main concern I had with the curry was its flavor profile and overall execution. The taste lacked the distinctive blend of aromatic spices and depth that is synonymous with authentic Indian curries. It appeared to be lacking in complexity and failed to deliver the rich and robust flavors that one would typically associate with this dish. This experience left me feeling dissatisfied and questioning the expertise of your culinary team.
I write this review not out of spite, but with the intention of providing constructive feedback. I believe that "Daun Curry" has the potential to become a destination for authentic Indian cuisine. However, it is imperative that the management and culinary team reevaluate the preparation and execution of their curry dishes.
By focusing on improving this aspect of their menu, the restaurant can truly deliver the exceptional dining experience it promises.
In conclusion, I sincerely hope that Daun Curry team takes this feedback to heart and endeavors to improve the quality of their curry. With the right attention and effort, I believe they have the potential to become a renowned establishment for Indian cuisine. I remain optimistic that my next visit hopefully will showcase the culinary excellence I expected from a restaurant named after the very essence of Indian food main Ingredients.
Thank you for considering my feedback. I trust that this review will contribute to the restaurant's ongoing pursuit...
Read moreI've been more than impressed when accidentally found this place in Teras Kota yesterday, first because of the decor, so comfortable since I was there with 3 kids, the staffs were so helpful, polite and professional. The most eye catching menu for me was the Indian food, since I like the Indian foods, so me and my husband decided to choose garlic naan and the lamb chops. For us, its flavour are unlikely dishes in another Indian resto which we've eaten before. We found that the lamb chop was less seasoning than usual and as for naan, I think it's too thin so it makes the naan too crisp. I told the staff about my opinion and they said, maybe next time if I choose to eat on their restaurant again, I can ask the strong seasoning for their dishes and a soft naan , since they use less seasoning on the dishes to adjust with local tastes. Well, I don't think that's not a good idea, since indian foods has their authentic taste, make it less means you make another taste for the same name of menu. Yes, it might be accepted by the locals taste but you'll lost the authentic taste on Indian foods. As for my kids, they emptied their plates of mie goreng kampung, so it means they like it. Overalls, I will be back one day when I feel like to eat an Indian food, since this is the only place which can serve those kind of foods, and I wish I can find the authentic taste in the future. Keep up the good work and thank you for helping me by entertain...

I came with my sister and my two son ( 9 yo and 11 months ), i asked for baby chair, but unfortunately they dont have it, they said that they didnt provide it yet, so i kind of struggle to feed my self while i was holding my baby at the same time.. We ordered Nasi Goreng Kampung, Tom Yam, Garlic Naan, and Butter Chicken.. They taste nice except for the satay ( came with Nasi Goreng, satay still cold), and Tom yam taste a bit salty.. They run out of spoon, my child eat his Nasi Goreng using his hands, after we asked twice, they gave us soup spoon (very large spoon).. Anyway, their manager gave us a courtesy and send us Masala Tea as a recovery treatment, thank you for the courtesy...
