Lembur Kuring Sunburst BSD — Restaurant in Serpong

Typical sundanese food and seafood retaurant. Have a big area for main dining without wall so air circulate freely, no aircon, but remain ambient and not hot during day time. They have also funtions room with aircon. On the side of main dining hall there is boat shape airconed room if you like usual restaurant room. There are rooms on the second floor but never check them. On the back there is a mini playground from children to play swings, seluncuran, and ayunan. This restaurant is into social media like facebook and instagram. There are facebook and instagram logos for people to take pictures with. Now, if you like selfie with your food, it comes with a bonus. For pictures taken and posted in instagram, they will give you a 10% discount only for food though. Come back to the facilities, a mini pool between the main hall and boat dhaped room is filled with fishes, i think they are koi fishes but i am not a fish follower guy, so they might be something else. The restrooms at the back are clean and most of time dry. There is row of diswasher for you to wash your hand before and after meal. One small diswasher are designed for child, so the height is nice and kids can do the hand washing without help from adults. Food are great, combination of seafood ( shrim, fish, squid), chicken, don' t think they have beef and various vegetables, i am there particularly for the tahu kipas. Drinkd are mostly juices, no coffee i believe. Plenty of girls for order taking and serving foods. I think ghey assigned each servant to specific table so respond is quite good. Weekends will be busy, i notice service level and respond time will be down a bit during these time but not...

Pretty roomy dining areas with designated decoration and layout inside the restaurant. You can feel the traditional Indonesian atmosphere while step-in.

Since it is Friday evening, there are not so many customers inside. The restaurant serves the authentic Indonesian cuisines with yummy local vegetables, meats, seafood and various spices.

The fried stuffs, such as fried chicken, ikan kipas, tahu isi are really yummy and tasty. The chicken sate is so juicy with super delicious peanut sauce. You can try fresh coconut or pipeapple, mango, sirsak juices as well. Foods and beverages are fresh to fulfill your stomach for sure.

The staffs are friendly and professional to serve you all the time. Just ask what you want during the meal. Just enjoy your time with friends or families here on weekends or...

The food is just... Okay. Not great, but not bad either. Portions are rather small, we didn't think they were the actual size/weight as explained by the waiters. When we asked for extra chilli sauce (sambal), the amount given was pathetically small, we thought that they were a bit too stingy. When the food arrived, it also wasn't hot, only warm.

Service was really slow. We asked for extra rice, and it didn't show up until after we've finished the initial amount of rice that we ordered in the beginning, even with several reminders. Please get your acts together Lembur Kuring, it was only white rice. Why did it need so long to get served?

Overall, rather disappointed. It was our first visit to the place, and we went with our extended family expecting a good experience. Didn't happen....
