Double Happiness International Restaurant — Restaurant in Surabaya

Last year the church where we celebrated Christmas together was here. This restaurant maintains strict health protocol when a pandemic like this. Visitors are told by doormen to wash their hands first and check their body temperature. Visitors are also required to wear masks.

This restaurant is a perfect place for celebrating because it's very comfortable and decorated with very pretty decor. At Christmas this restaurant will give us a beautiful Christmas tree with Christmas decorating filled with presents underneath and big bearded Santa Claus dolls. With that sort of decor, a lot of people have taken pictures with Santa Claus.

The place for us for Christmas is beautifully decorated, filled with red and pink, cold, cozy, and spacious. The seats were also covered with a white cloth to make them appear elegant. Neatly arranged and spaced out in each chair. But it's also too bad we couldn't celebrate for too long because this pandemic was inside of the restaurant. So we couldn't eat together there but we got food to take home. The food was served so well that it was full and full.

Overall taste of food here are good. How they present the food creatively is amazing too. I visited wedding party at saturday night. The only inconvenient thing is parking area. With very limited space, especially in rainy season, it really make us difficult. The ambience is good as well, even the resto rather old but it looks well maintain. Their toilet is clean. The waitress are also skilled and diligent. This the reason why it still exist in very tight competition...

Chinese restaurant with thematic decorations. This place is very popular for engagement and married event. Thus they already arranged the stage for those occasion.

The price is relatively reasonable, with a nice portion. The taste is alright, the restaurant itself quite spacious, but have very limited parking area, therefore during the event, usually you must use vallet service to park your car.
