Bon Ami located in the middle of Surabaya (Surabaya Pusat). The parking lot is spacious and have 2 person helping you with park your vehicle.

When I first enter the place it’s so vast and the mood is so calm and homey. The waitress is helping you to get table and tell what’s the best menu in here. On ramadhan the second floor become musholla even it’s not appropriate if you compare another restaurant in this level.

Let’s talk about food!. I give the food 5/5 every menu in here is so tasty. I recommend you the seafood noodles in hotplate and the steak. On Noodle seafood, I like the soup because the broth taste is so umami and thick. On the other hand the steak I eat is medium rare with mushroom sauce, it’s really great you must taste the tender and juicy steak yet the sauce is so good (the best mushroom sauce so far).

Good Indonesian food. I also appreciate that the restaurant can make many foods non-spicy — even their sambal for the tempe penyet.

I tried the following foods: Nasi Pincuk - It is rice served with a variety of dishes, including Indonesian curry chicken, beef, lodeh tewel (jackfruit), kering tempe dan teri, cecek (cow’s skin) and pecel. Each dish, on its own, is very tasty — like for example, the beef is tender and flavorful.

Lidah Goreng Asin - The ox tongue is salted and fried. The tongue itself is very tender.

Tahu Telur - Tofu and potato is fried together with egg and is topped with the gravy and crackers. If you request for a non-spicy gravy, it is generally sweet.

Udang Werus - Small shrimps are deep fried until slightly crispy and seasoned.

I recently chose this Restaurant in Surabaya for a friendly meeting, and it was a fantastic decision! From the moment you step in, you'll appreciate the stunning design, both inside and out. They've done an excellent job of respecting the building's historical roots, and the antique furniture adds incredible character and value to the ambiance. The service truly stood out – it was impeccable, efficient, and always delivered with a friendly smile. We were amazed at how quickly our food arrived, practically within minutes! The portions were perfectly satisfying, and the flavors were generally excellent, with only the sauce being a slight miss.
