I am a seafood lover and had been to many other restaurants or places that sell the crabs menu. This restaurant was awful despite its review and hearsay. The place is awfully dirty and not hygienic with many trash and crabs remain in the table and chair that left after cleaning. But, the most awful thing is the menu itself. The crabs are not fresh and taste just so so with a not really good sauce. I am also buying 4 super crab which is supposed to be bigger than the normal counterpart however, what comes out are 4 smaller crabs which weight less than what is stated in the bill. The service is also utter trash. I ask the waiter regarding the small size of the crab and the waiter just say that it is really my order and just left without further explanation. Just saw this restaurant on one of the list of "must visit places on surabaya". Order the "super crab" for 2 peoples with "asam manis" sauce. We got 3 hugeeee crabs with incredible sweet, sour, and a little bit spicy sauce. I recommend this "asam manis" sauce. You can also take home your leftovers if you ordered too much crabs. I dont really know if this is the best crab grab, but this crab is definitely above the average. It is very juicy and tasteful. Kind of small in size despite the price. I also order a plate of mentega hitam shrimp. It is kind of tasty but not as tasty as the crab. The place are quite nice, but they dont provide crab cutter.
