Nasi Cumi Pasar Atom Ibu Atun — Restaurant in Surabaya

One of my favorite street food in North Surabaya, "Warung nasi pinggir jalan", with its Special menu is Maduranese Authentic cuisine.

"Nasi campur cumi hitam", In English : Rice with various meat and Hot Sambal, including Squid ink (cumi hitam), beef meats (empal sapi), shrimp cake (peyek udang), Hard Boiled Egg in Bali style (Telur rebus masak Bumbu Bali), Local Soybean cake tofu in Bali Style (Tahu lokal masak Bumbu Bali), They also provide Pepes Ikan tongkol (Skipjack Fish which was cooked using hot and spicy sauces, and steamed on Banana Leaf) All of the menu considered as Hot, Spicy and of course very delicious.

Their stall is located in Jalan Waspada, street next to Pasar Atum. They are open everyday 24 hours, 7 days, they only closed when Eid Mubarak Season.

This food stall quite famous in Surabaya. If u are tourist, you may also order their menus through some applications, like Gjk or G**b

Although considered as street food, their foods price is not as cheap as we imagine, the lowest price of the menu is IDR 20 K, while the expensive one, can reach IDR 50 K, depend on what combinations menus that we have ordered.

Same with most other local street food stall, this "Warung" is also not clean as local restaurant., and if we eat there during raining, it will be not comfortable at all.

However, trust me, The taste of the foods is very rich and yummy, I believe u will make repeat visit after u experienced their foods taste.

legendary black squid rice stall in Surabaya. If you visit Surabaya, you can visit this place. The location is on Jl Waspada on the right side, right across from Pasar Atom.

The taste offered is unique and delicious but the portion is relatively small. In addition to squid rice, you can also order beef rawon or squid rawon. The dining room is quite spacious and clean, consisting of 10 tables with 4 chairs each and the most spectacular, this stall is open 24 hours. The name of this place is so adorable. For the price of squid, the food in this place is too expensive. The taste of the food was ordinary. Or maybe this is the taste of Madura food.
