One of the best place to have dish called "penyetan" which is rice served with a sambal and variations of fried toppings.
However in this place they only serve limited amount of variations, which are stingray, bean curd / tofu, "tempeh" and scrambled egg, which you can choose depending on your preferences.
Expect a wait in this place and hard to find seatings in this place because it will be crowded. But it is worth the wait since the food tasted really great.
They serve until 03:00AM which great for those who were looking for midnight dinner. Especially popular with students and workers since the price are really cheap and totally affordable for everyone.
Most noted for their "sambal" or chillies, you can choose from 2 options, sweet or hot. Basically the sweet option just mean that they give sugar to the chilli which soften the chilli impact on the tongue. Choose the hot option for those who like the sensation of burning in your mouth.
I recommend to try the stingray which are known as "iwak pe" and egg. Please note that, avoid going to this place near the closing time (1:00AM - 2:00AM) since the stingray and tofu usually sold out during this time and please dont expect the place to be fancy or cozy or whatsoever since it is located near the market. Its a very traditional stall which gives the atmosphere of...
Read moreThe crowd is crazy. There is no clear queue. People are just shout their order. They have no seating and only sell food, so other people are selling drinks with available seating. It took almost 2 hours to get my food. I came around 11 pm and eats around 1 am. It located on a traditional market by day so, i don't feel comfortable that much. The smell of trash fleeting as the wind blows, just gross. The food is simple rice (sego), sambal (hot sauce), with topping of fried battered egg, tempe, fried chicken or fried stingray fish. The sambel is fine, there's a hot-sweet and an extra hot. The stingray is very soft, even the bone can be eaten. Nothing special, its a typical traditional food with an just ok taste. Yes, its cheap. Less than 20k rupiah. In my opinion this place is just overrated. Really not worth the wait, yet a good experience. Yeah, i just came here once and i don't want to go there again. There are other place that sell the same thing, the same taste but with better place, a...
Tetep enak kok tapi ya selayaknya nasi disambelin.
Buat rasa? Yaa biasa aja sih sebenernya. Will I come back? Yes, tapi kalo ada temen yang...
