To elaborate, as requested...

One star removed for the food: The ramen soup was quite salty, but not very flavourful otherwise. It was not too expensive, so that can be forgiven, but in the big city, the ramen taste has more depth. In one bowl the meat was nice and soft, but in the other bowl, it was quite tough. I prefer non-spicy food, but there was no option to order it without chilli. Similarly, my partner prefers extra-spicy food, but there was no option to get more chilli or sauce. Half of the items on the menu were not available. The milkshake consisted of ice cubes, milk, and a scoop of ice cream. Perhaps the blender was broken?

One star removed for the stuffy air: Despite the aircon being on, it is hotter inside than outside. You can fix that by having separate extractor fans in the kitchen area (or at least a door between the two areas), then the aircon in the dining area won't have to fight against the heated air from the fires.

I also find it uncomfortable to sit on the floor, but I guess it is appropriate for an Asian theme with younger customers, so I didn't remove a star for that.

In search for dinner while in Solo and spot So Ramen while strolling around Google Maps. Since they have many reviews, I decided to give it a try. In this visit, I ordered Shoyu Ramen (savory and fresh ramen broth) and Shiro Ramen (milk and garlic based ramen broth). For beverages, I ordered mineral water and sweet iced tea. In my opinion their ramen is way too bland for my liking whom loved strong seasoning in foods. Portion and pricing wise they're pretty nice. They have a few parking spot on the side of the road, so it's perfectly fine for you guys whom bring your own vehicles. They have sitting on the floor concept, so you need to take off your footwear at the entrance and put it in the available shelf. The place has no air conditioner (the electric fan isn't working at the time of my visit, so it's incredibly hot for me whom like cold area). Their staff pretty helpful and hospitable. Tl;dr Don’t expect authentic ramen. Paling nggak expect tasty ramen meskipun gak authentic. Masalahnya nggak tasty. Tempat gak terurus, dekorasi maaf alay & tacky, musti lepas sepatu tapi lantainya kotor, meja nggak bersih masih basah. Dateng kesini, yah gak expect apa2 lah, I mean tempat makan murah tapi ala Jejepangan. Its ok, bisa terima karena harganya masuk akal. Masalahnya waktu saya makan shoyu ramennya, yang katanya favorit, rasanya asin banget dan jelas shoyunya nggak berkualitas. Rasa nggak balanced, ada amis2 yang nggak enak di hidung. Tempatnya alay (tacky), maksa banget anime/manga wibu. I mean gw dulu wibu, tapi ini kayakny berlebihan aja. Disini nggak bisa makan tanpa lepas alas kaki, gaya lasehan. Memang dijepang ada gaya lasehan, tapi kalau lasehan tolong dong lantainya yang bersih dan terurus. Ini lantainya kayak semen yang cuma dilapisin wallpaper, sudah ngelopek2, kotor dekil, bergelombang. Lantai juga banyak sampah, lengket. Karena gaada pilihan yaudah lah masuk aja mumpung udah ditempat. Open kitchen tapi malah nunjukin yang jorok dan berantakan. Kitchen staffnya telanjang kaki, gw bisa liat footprint kotor karena becek di lantai kitchennya. Banyak meja yang nggak langsung dibersihin abis pelanggan selesai makan.

Waktu pertama kali masuk, ditawarin ke ruang berAC, tapi masalahnya ACnya angin doang, dan ACnya terlalu kecil buat ruangan segede itu, jadi langsung keluar ganti meja.

Paling nggak servisny ok lah, ramah, cepet juga. Waktu gw minta bersihin mejanya, langsung dibersihin. Waktu minta ganti meja, langsung dipindahin. Tapi ada 2 kasir, 1 ngerti menu tapi agak jutek, 1 gak ngerti apa2 jadi bergantung sama yg jutek.

Overall, buruk. 46k buat gyoza, ramen dan es teh tawar. Jual gimmick tapi gagal, managementnya salah, tempat nggak keurus. Bisa dibilang mahal untuk kualitas makanan dan servis yang didapat. Nambah dikit bisa makan di ramenYA, tempat bersih, rasa enak meskipun nggak sebegitu autentiknya. Not...
