Sedjuk Bakmi & Kopi Lokananta Solo — Restaurant in Surakarta

went there around 7 pm, there was a event on the location.

at first; the staff did not even glance at us. so i sat on the table and write the menu, gave it to the cashier. but the cashier said that we should sit down and the waiter will come to take our order.

well i sat down but no waiter to be called around. so the cashier took my order instead 😒

the meal was very delicious 👌🏻i’ve been in Bakmi Sedjuk in Jakarta too. the portion was decent enough 👌🏻 overall the food & ambience is good and recommend to give it a try.

however you need to train your staff properly.

1. i asked to move my table, and the intern waiter said “ok we’ll clean up the other table for you.” but some guests came and the intern waiter gave the table. other guest. 😒😒😒 the intern waiter did not even say sorry for me to give my table to other people, although im the first one to arrive.
2. as i said, there was an event in the location. so i went outside and watch the event for a bit, my bag and drink still in the restaurant (my drink is still full). suddenly that intern waiter came and asked my to settled my bill cause there is people who wanted to sit on my table. so i replied to her “but my bag and my drink was still there.” and she said “yes but you need to pay the bill. some guests want to order on that table.” actually i really mad at that intern waiter. she gave my table and now she gave my table to to other guests although im not finished with my drink yet! she did not give explanation or even say sorry!
3. there was an event outside, and as i watch the event, the intern waiter also watch the concert. did not help the other waiters at the restaurant, maybe she watched the concert at 15-20 mins? one of her friends came and said she should help the others but well she just standing there to watch the concert.

The food was delicious (we ordered bakmi ayam oven, nasi mini, nasi goreng kampung, pangsit baso kuah) but I want to highlight the service area. We were being waitered by a young lady in her all black formal wear (she seemed like a trainee? She has a kind of timid body language & the other staff wear some sort of uniform shirt) but she explained the menu very well, catered for all our request (extra cutleries, soup etc) and proactively offer baby chair when seeing my baby, tell us about the restroom situation, and when being asked to take our picture she offer new angle as well. She did her job very well 👏 too bad I forgot to ask her name. If management read this, please promote this girl, she deserves it.

All in all my first experience with Bakmi Sedjuk at Lokananta was impressive. Definitely...

Visited Sedjuk Bakmi & Kopi located at Lokananta Solo for dinner. They're pretty busy during dinner time. In this visit, me and my friend ordered their Bakmi Ayam Oven Original (chicken noodle with oven grilled chicken thigh part and Chinese cabbage). I also ordered Cold Coklat Sedjuk (Chocolate Artisan Bali) and Es Limun Sedjuk (lemonade). If i'm comparing Sedjuk Solo with Sedjuk Jakarta, the taste is pretty similar (however the best outlet of Sedjuk that I've ever visited is still their outlet in SCBD Jakarta).
