Altius Restaurant — Restaurant in West Java

Booked their shabu2 promo on 6th Jul in the noon for the evening. When we arrived at altius, there’s corporate event and we need to moved to Plum. Why on earth you receive the order if your place already booked for an event???? At Plum we need to wait for ABOUT 1 HOUR, kids are anxious as they are getting hungry and cold. I mean, we have booked 5 serving from noon, how on earth the food not ready yet??? Serving are super slow, we order 5, they serve 3 as table is not big enough, ok then i put all those 3 servings ingredients and ask for another 2 serving served. DO YOU KNOW WHAT? only 1 serving served, i asked, supposedly there’s another serving, BUT NO ONE come back with the pending serve. We are tired and the kids are sleepy so we ask for the bill, then THEY SAID 1 MORE PORTION IS YET SERVED. They ask whether we want to take away the shabu2 raw. LOL, we are staying at grand aston where are we supposed to cook those, at home? Of course it will got rotten, please use logic. So we ended up give those to someone in the parking area.

Summary: uncordinated staff, shabu2 too salty, meat was dark only one plate fresh red, the waiter didnt care whether you starving or not, changing gas takes zillion of time, they dont even care if food all serve or not, they will panic when you want to pay and rushing the unserve portion to be included in bill. DISGUST, will never ever ate in Altius. We spent around 1.2mn together with drinks and pizza, left with annoyed and dissapointed feeling of shabu2 dinner we thought will be a heartfelt dinner. Because of its high Google ratings, I stopped by to try it out. The night I arrived, Altius was closed, but I was still able to order from Altius and eat at the rooftop restaurant Plum. The place is luxurious, cozy, and romantic. Very pleasant.

However, my food took a long time to be served, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The laksa I ordered was very standard, and the filling wasn't rich, with more oncom. As for the fish and chips, the fish was indeed thick. But unfortunately, the taste was also mediocre. And the flour, inconsistent, it was a bit hard, not perfectly crunchy. The Shirley Temple was delicious and pleasing to the eye.

So, the food was mediocre, even lacking. Furthermore, the serving time was a bit slow, while the price was quite high, but it wasn't worth the taste. Perhaps other menu better, maybe next time I'll try...

I eat in this restaurant first time. This restaurant has amazing food selection, and amazing team. I’ve been around in the area for three days and never had a good quality food as this restaurant. it is inside a hotel named Grand Aston Puncak Hotel & Resort.
